Some customers came early but there was no receptionist. I was lucky to when the room service was there, so I can check in earlier than booking time - 14:00

The view! The location is on a peninsula so you don’t get street traffic noise. Cute restaurants and coffee shops near. You have free laundry as well or they will do it for $4 USD. Great value if you want to stay in Tay Ho. It’s about a 20 minute easy walk to the Old Quarter or a very cheap taxi/Grab ride.
There was only one thing that bothered me. There is a playground below and parents (locals) would have their kids out there until 10/10:30 most nights, which made it hard to sleep.

Location was quiet and yet still easy to get to. So it's doesn't get the usual noise of traffic. I had the best sleep of my entire trip here. The locals also tend to hang out here right on this street as it overlooks the lake. Really gives it a local feel. Room itself is spacious and clean with a kitchen if you're up for cooking your own meals. The water cooler is also great when you don't have water on hand.
The toilet is a little tired and mouldy. The windows are not tinted so I have to remember to close the curtains at all times

Beautiful lake view. Comfortable stay. Cozy with hot water, microwave, sofa and huge tv. Quiet stay. Great balcony. Airy and ventilated without needing aircon. Helpful staff with great communication. So many cafes with food right outside door. Shared washing machine.
Could definitely use a deep clean, surfaces a bit grungy. Low hot water pressure.
