Villa Ria Alvor is a brand new luxury v4 villa where you can find everything you need for your vacations.
Great for families with children, our indoor pool is built for children only 0. 40m deep with a waterfall. Magnificent !!
The villa is in a premium location where only a few minutes you can be in the historical city of Lagos and the touristic city of Portimão, the beaches of Alvor and Meia Praia (view of Ria de Alvor). If you like to play golf you can find the Penina Golf Resort at 5 min driving from the villa and the Palmares Beach Golf at 10 min driving from the Villa. If you want to visit the Algarve International Autodrome is 5 min from the villa.
In this villa you can find a stunning pool with 2 waterfalls and get the most out of it with the hydromassage or jet pool to swim while enjoying the breath taking view to the Ria de Alvor. On the same floor you can also spend your time catching some sun or having a BBQ with your friends or family.
The villa is composed by:
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom and an open living room where you can enjoy the same view of the pool.
On the top floor you have the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a huge terrace where you can have a peripheral view of all the house.

Built and laid out by the three-time British Open Champion, Sir Henry Cotton, the course is challenging as it is satisfying ... and the unforgiving as it is beautiful.
Flanked by streams, water hazards and precarious ditches, the course boasts an array of subtle slopes and raised greens ... well known for catching out even the most careful of golfers.
The Par 73 course, is playable the whole year round and is currently taking bookings for this and next season.

This exceptional American golf course was designed to craft a 27-hole golf course that maximized the potential of its extraordinary environment. The result is a golf course of breathtaking natural beauty which is a delight to play. The course opened 18 holes for play in October 2010 and the full 27 last June 2011 and it has matured nicely.
Palmares Golf is composed of three returning nine-hole loops that can be played in any sequence. The genius in the routing is that, depending on the sequence of play, each golf experience is different. Each nine-hole loop - Alvor, Lagos and Praia - has its own character and ambiance.

The property is exactly as described and depicted in the online pics. Beautiful modern house about 10 min from Lagos in a subdivision that is somewhat rural. Very quiet with a beautiful pool overlooking the valley below. Very clean property, would highly recommend!

The villa is fantastisch. Very nice swimmingpool, jacuzzi and other things to keep our family active and happy in the house. The location of the villa is perfect for going to Lagos, Sagres, Portimao or Guia (Zoomarine). Marisa is very helpfull and a really kind host. Our holiday was wonderfull and fantastisch. Thanks again, Marisa.

The host Marisa was very nice and helpful! Pictures are keeping what they promised. But if the headline promises a heated pool it is a bit unfair to see in the last corner of the text that this will take additional 450 Euros….
But all in all very relaxing holidays (and we did not need the heating) 😀

We booked this property to enjoy a relaxing week at the Algarve. As it was not clear to us, what kind of street runs close by the property, we asked the owner. She responded that this road is not disturbing. But unfortunately this is not true. This is the main road from Lagos to Portimao and you have traffic 24/7. You might not hear it, when all windows are closed, but sitting outside at the pool, on the terrace or having the windows open, you have to expect constant traffic noise. This was very annoying and ruined our week.
In regards to the house itself: it is very spacious, good quality of furniture. The pool is amazing and we would recommend to pay extra for the pool heating. The turkish bath was not worth the extra money, the sauna we did not use. A couple of things to consider: Wifi only works properly on the main floor. Hardly no reception on the lower or upper floor. As we were only two persons staying, the equipment was ok. But it seemed odd to us, that you can book for eight people, but e.g outside seating is only for six. So overall a stay, which did not make us happy because of the traffic noise.
