About this chalet rental

(Text automatically translated) Detached farmhouse with 3 buildings, located on a plot of 5000 m2 equipped with a bowling green and a beautiful view. The farmhouse has been completely renovated in 2008. The appliances, furniture and bedding are new. You have all the amenities (flat screens with satellite TV, high speed internet computer, WiFi, pool table, many dvds, gaming, games, bike, seesaws for children ..). Ideal for two families with children or for several couples. Attic has also been built for children. The rental is located in the heart of ski resorts that are all equipped with snow cannons if necessary, one station is 5 minutes (the Brasses) another 15 minutes (Sommand) for closer. In summer you also have many opportunities for sightseeing (Geneva, Annecy, Chamonix ..) and a beautiful public swimming pool 1 km.

Overall our stay was very enjoyable the chalet was very well equipped and spacious and the hot tub and pool table were a great addition . However, it would have been helpful to have some information relating to use of some of the appliances. We arrived early evening and were not given any introduction as the owner had left. After an 8 hour drive it would have been nice to have had some basic supplies as is normal for this type of property however, we had to go straight out again to find a shop. The property would benefit from a deep clean and some updating as there was a lot of mould on bedroom walls. Extractor fans were loud all night with no option to turn them off

We had a wonderful relaxing time in Onnion. The property was perfect. Clean, well appointed with amazing views. We had perfect weather and waking up each morning, drinking coffee looking at Mt. Blanc was very special. It was a great place for our 18 month old toddler, he had a great time and was very suitable for small kids. The owner Olivier was wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property.

We spent the last 2 weeks of October at the farmhouse. We had breakfast nearly every morning on the patio with an amazing view of Mont Blanc. The house is very well equipped ,very clean and comfortable with plenty of plates, cutlery, cookware, towels. Lovely shower rooms. We have been once before 2 years ago and since then a hot -tub room has been added with a great view....lovely for relaxing after a day of walking. You can have beautiful walks straight from the house, the autumn colours were fantastic but also there are so many good treks a short drive away. We enjoyed a walk to Pointe D'Ireuse from above Bellevaux and a great ridge walk to Pointe de Marcelly from Sammond. Geneva and Annecy are also within a fairly easy drive. If you have a dog or young children the farmhouse is perfect, no traffic and space for children/dog to free range. There is a bakery in Onnion village (closed Wednesdays) and also one in Bellevaux and a supermarket in St Jeoire. In the past we have used the vet in St Jeoire to complete pet passport , very helpful and speaks good English Would highly recommend the property and the area for a holiday.

We spent two weeks in the Chalet and enjoyed it very much. The house is very lovely, we had a warm welcome from the owner Olivier. The kitchen is full equiped, the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean: towels and linen are provided. There is a pooltable and you can play petanque, there are also bikes available. The biggest suprise was the hot tub, this was just installed. The surroundings are beautiful and if you love hiking, this is the perfect place to stay.

The house was spacious and well equipped. Lovely views of Mont Blanc from the house. Large plot at end of small road meant it was peaceful and private. Great for our dog as no traffic to worry about, the garden would be lovely for children. The village with a good bakery was only a short drive but also walkable. We enjoyed some fantastic walking from the house or from a short drive. The house has 2 dedicated bedrooms and the third bedroom is a large living room with a couple of sofa beds that quickly pull down to make beds. The dining room table is very large (pool table underneath) and could easily accommodate 11/12 people. The towels and linen were all provided and of a high quality. Plenty of utensils, plates pans and two raclette machines and fondue set. We wished we had booked 2 weeks. If you bring a dog the vets in St Jeoire (12mins) were very good and did our pet passport.

"Very nice place to stay for all seasons. Very complete. Fireplace, comfortable beds, clean and neat kitchen. Lots of room. Big playhouse for the children and lots of toys. Plenty of firewood at hand. Quiet location. Even in low season enough to explore. Calm village, lots of nature. Supermarket in the village closed down, no grocery shops nearby. Bakery in village center, 1 km down a steep mountain road. This place has my recommendation! "

Onnion is a beautiful French village. Chalet is nicely furnished and well equipped,in a lovely position with lovely winter views. Watch out for foxes and your rubbish bags, do not leave them out overnight!!! A car is an absolute must and the drives in the area are lovely. Good supermarkets nearby and lovely bakery in the village.

Le chalet était bien conforme à la description. L'endroit est calme est la vie est magnifique. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à onnion :) Notre chien était le bienvenue aussi, on a pu profiter de jolie ballades dans le coin.

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden, das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Wir waren nur 4 Personen, aber auch für 6 Personen oder 3 Familien mit je 1-2 Kindern (die im gleichen Zimmer schlafen) würde es noch passen. Das 3. Schlafzimmer ist eher ein 2. Wohnzimmer, mit 2 Couches, mit direktem Anschluss an den Pool-Raum. Es hat aber auch eine extra Tür, um es vom Innenbereich abzutrennen. Insgesamt würde ich das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce chalet avec une très belle vue sur le Mont Blanc. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Petit bémol sur la propreté en arrivant (fourmi dans cuisine, sanitaires pas très propres) surtout en cette période particulière. Sinon le reste était vraiment sympa,équipement complet. Très agréable.

Nous avons adoré le logement qui est complet, et cette vue ! Waou ! Le logement est proche de belles randonnées à faire. Ce fut très agréable, on a adoré ! Le jacuzzi, le billard, le terrain de pétanque, les jeux de sociétés, parfait pour se reposer après nos périples en montagne. Vraiment super !

Nous avons passer un agréable séjour dans ce jolie chalet . Tout est bien penser et nous avions tout ce qu'il nous fallait Pour séjourner et se reposer au milieu de la nature et le bon air de la montagne sans oublier la magnifique vue face au MONT BLANC , nous y retournerons très prochainement et nous tenons à ajouter que nous avons eu un acceuil très chaleureux de la part des propriétaires , du pur bonheur , a refaire très très vite .

Le chalet est vraiment superbe. Propre, confortable. Le jaccuzi et le billard sont vraiment un plus pour passer de vrais bonnes vacances. Les deux stations de ski sont vraiment à côtés. Sommand est plus grande que les brasses. Il y a des randonnées à faire proche du chalet. Le lieu est vraiment superbe.

Tres beau chalet, au calme et en pleine nature, sur les hauteurs de Onnion, charmant village de taille humaines. Chalet tres bien entretenu qui permet de vraiment décompresser. Très bien situé puisque l'on peut aller à Onnion à pied et a quelques minutes en voiture des pistes Excellent séjour que nous referons l'année prochaine
