Renovated mill, rural house with pool, fireplace and barbecue in a privileged natural environment. Full rental (6 adults + 2 children)
The house has two natural pools (pools) of totally clean water.

If you are looking for a house to relax for a few days with friends and family in a privileged natural environment you have just found your home. El Molino is an authentic haven of peace and tranquility, your only concern will be to listen to the course of the river Esperaban while you enjoy some beers or a good wine on the porch of the house. Comment that the natural environment where it is located is something really exceptional ... I just hope that future generations know how to keep it and so many more people can enjoy it.
The house has two natural pools (pools) of totally clean water, the one on top delights the smallest of the house as it is suitable even for babies and the one below covers in August over the waist of a adult of 1,80. In the section of videos you can see them if you want.

Old oil mill rehabilitated, declared well of cultural interest by the Junta de Extremadura, with something more than one hundred years old. The original structure of the building has been maintained, accommodating the interior to current needs. The materials of the Hurdana architecture, stone walls, wooden beams, floor and slate roof have been respected, as well as the machinery, which is in its entirety located and conserved inside the building.
The result is so cozy that guarantees a comfortable and quiet stay in direct contact with nature, since the mill is hidden under the shelter of a magnificent natural scenery: pines, olive trees, heather, rockrose, cherry, oak and chestnut ... more noise than the murmur of the water of the Esperabán river that crosses the area and where you can enjoy its waters in the natural pool attached to the mill.
The ground floor is totally diaphanous, they are 100 m2 dedicated to relaxation .... it has two different rooms with fireplace, dining room, a very spacious kitchen and a bathroom. On the first floor there are three bedrooms all equipped with an independent bathroom, two of them with cast iron bathtubs. It has capacity for six adults + two children in extra beds.
Regarding air conditioning indicate that it appears on the card as included because due to the architectural characteristics of the house itself (walls over one meter thick) the temperature does not rise of 25º in the common areas (ground floor) despite that in the exterior we are at 38º. It is in this sense Resolution of the Ministry of Tourism of the Junta de Extremadura granting exemption from the use of air conditioning on the ground floor. Although the house does not have air conditioning neither in the common areas nor in the rooms since it is only necessary in the rooms of the first floor exceptionally when a heat wave comes very, very severe ...... but with temperatures " normal "up to 38º is not necessary. There are that if fans in the rooms to combat a little heat in the summer.
In April of 2018 we have carried out the complete renovation of the solar equipment, eight new plates and 1000 Ampere batteries guarantee the power supply.

A great location by the river which is good for swimming. Full of interesting mill workings but a very comfortable house. Off grid electrics so the cooking facilities are a bit limited. In an isolated but beautiful valley and good walking paths .

Die alte Mühle ist schon fast mäechenhaft, sehr exotisch, darin wohnen zu dürfen. Die vielen umliegenden piscinas naturales sind einfach nur traum haft. Leider war es sehr sehr heisd und wir konnten wegen der Hitze nicht ganz alles unternehmen.

La casa está en un entorno privilegiado, en sí cumplía con creces lo que estábamos buscando, muy limpia (gracias Lucía) y muy acogedora, cuando llegamos un poco mas tarde de lo que nos hubiera gustado por motivos ajenos a nosotros, la casa estaba completamente acondicionada con las dos chimeneas y la calefacción funcionando, cosa que viajando con dos bebes y en un entorno tan frío como este, se agradece. Los problemas comenzaron la misma noche que entramos, cuando volvimos de Pinofranqueado de comprar unas cosas la casa estaba completamente a oscuras, tuvimos que encender un grupo para dar luz a la casa todos los días, hasta aquí era molesto estar pendiente del grupo pero asumible, el problema fue dos días después cuando el grupo no encendía y estuvimos todo el día intentando solucionarlo, gracias a todas las personas que se acercaron e intentaron solucionarlo, finalmente se solucionó poniendo un grupo pequeño que Emilio pidió en el pueblo y que nos instalaron a media tarde, el grupo era antiguo y pequeñito lo que supondría que tendríamos que estar echando gasolina cada cierto tiempo para poder tener luz, esto sumado a que estábamos en un día muy lluvioso no era precisamente el tipo de instancia que con dos bebes estábamos buscando, por lo tanto decidimos abandonar la casa un día antes de lo previsto.
Una lástima lo del generador de electricidad, la casa está bien (la teníamos como muy buena opción para el verano por su piscina natural, el río tiene un agua transparente impresionante), el entorno es inmejorable y la gente de los pueblos de alrededor muy amables, esperamos que este problema se solucione pronto puesto que la casa y el precio merecen tener un equipamiento acorde.
Por desgracia, nuestra experiencia en la casa no fue nada buena tuvimos que entrar mas tarde de las 5, lo normal es sobre las 2 del mediodía, y salimos un día antes de lo previsto, el trato con Emilio por Teléfono fue normal y el trato personal con Lucía fue excelente.
