We had a lovely stay at Chalet les Joux. The apartment is clean, well kept and has everything you need. It’s in a good, quiet location with a small garden; the supermarket is nearby and the bus stop is 2 mins away. We enjoyed Morzine in the summer (we’ve skied here many times!) including Alpine French School lessons, walking, swimming (pool and lake) and the wonderful scenery.

Lovely cosy apartment conveniently situated 10-15 minute walk from the town centre / ski lifts (free ski bus 3-5 minute walk from the apartment). Can't fault anything and would certainly book again if we decide to ski out of Morzine in the future. Highly recommended.

Stayed for a couple of weeks with a small baby, close enough to town without being too central and busy, supermarket and cafe close by. Shared washing machine in the building. really nice to have some outside space to enjoy in the summer. Pretty spacious for an alpine apartment! Had most of what you need, remember to bring towels and tea towels though. Christian can get you a morzine multipass for the summer meaning it’s around £2.50/ day to use the ski lifts (not for mtb), pool and other attractions which was great value. Thanks for having us!

We had a lovely week in Morzine staying in this apartment. It was warm, spacious and well equipped. It was a short (10-15 minute) walk or 5 minute bus ride to Pleny. The supermarket was a 5 minute walk away. Ideal for our family and even room for 2 friends to stay for a couple of nights.

Great location

Great apartment. Perfect location, within easy walking distance of the town and lifts. Only minor issue was the communal washing machine wasn’t working at the time of our stay. Also be aware linens are provided, but towels are not. Highly recommend.

Excellent value for money!

Excellent value for money!

The apartment was lovely and clean. There were 6 of us staying in the apartment and even though the sofa bed was constantly in use, it still felt spacious enough for us all! The interior was nice and modern, and there was a very big terrace garden outside the patio doors which was lovely. Downstairs near the entrance was a ski locker which was big enough for all 6 of our skis which was perfect. The check in process was extremely easy and mr and mrs pollien were very nice. The apartment was a 2 minute walk to the shop and a 10 minute walk to the super morzine cable car and there was a bus stop outside to take you further into morzine or out towards Montriond. Within a 15 minute walk you could reach the town which was great. The only issue we had was that the hot water would last for 4 of 5 of us and the 6th person would often be left with no hot water but we managed perfectly fine. Overall we had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this apartment which is extremely good value for money!

Overall good with a couple of issues

Firstly the apartment is clean, comfortable and well placed with about 10/12 minutes walk to the town centre and about 15 minutes to the lifts, with buses not far away if needed. The issues we had though were that the apartment really isn't suitable for six as advertised. We were a family of four and there was very little storage space with most of our stuff being left in suitcases on the floor. This made the apartment feel smaller and cluttered. The other issue is that the hot water is insufficient for six. We could only manage two showers, maximum, before it ran out. It then takes about 3 hours to be hot again for another two showers! If you tried to have a bath it would waste all the water and would still not fill it. We also found the bed in the double room too hard for us and the room very small. This is not necessarily a criticism as some may like it this way, but we didn't.

Good location, clean chalet on arrival and we'll equipped. Be aware that if you book the chalet in the summer there are hidden extras which aren't made clear on homeaway.com; bed linen and towels are extra which was unexpected as it's advertised online to include them and there is a cleaning fee for the end of the week. We choose to clean the chalet ourselves at the end of the week, would be good if they provided some basics such as tea towels and a mop and bucket. However this been said there's parking, a garage for bikes and a nice little garden and it suited us well for a week just a shame a few bits were missing to make the holiday easier!

Chalet Les Joux apartment 2 was very much as described and very nice!!!! Everything was great and it was a 2 min walk to the bus, 5 min walk the supermarket, and 10 min walk into town... even doable in ski boots. We had a bit of a problem with the hot water and wifi, but the agent came around immediately to sort it out. A little tricky to find as you can't see it from the road (and it was dark), but the this was made up for by the location. I would definitely recommend this apartment for 4 people as it was nice to have the living space not used as a bedroom. It also has a nice little garden and a friendly goat to say hello too.

L appartement est bien situé, confortable, très bien agencé et très propre. Les draps sont fournis et les lits faits c est top. Proche du centre-ville et d un arrêt navettes. Très pratique pour les skieurs : un local fermé pour les skis. Un petit bémol : pour la douche un mitigeur serait plus pratique que 2 robinets. Juste penser à ajouter pour le four, un gant. Séjour très agréable. A conseiller. Bon choix.
