About this cottage rental
Perfect family holiday home with plenty of space.
Located on the side of a beautiful granite hill, on a quite road, a spacious, well appointed attractive stone cottage, previously served as the village forge, surrounded by beautiful countryside within 20 minutes of the coast.
Large kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large double oven with induction hob, fridge with icebox; slow cooker, stick blender and every utensil you would need!
Space to hang coats and shoes
Leading to the dual aspect lounge/diner with plenty of comfortable seating, games, books, dining table and chairs plus a TV with DVD player; Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 with games for the guests to use.
Satellite TV with the main UK channels including BBC, ITV, BBC and Channels 4 & 5, plus some additional free to air satellite channels.
For the winter there is an extremely efficient log burner and logs supplied.
Wifi is available throughout the property.
Large, bright downstairs WC and shower room with plenty of space.
Steep open aspect stairs from the lounge/diner lead to first floor landing:
Bedroom 1: Large well lit kingsize bed with wardrobe and drawers; additional shelves, radio alarm clock, with seating for two with an occasional table and a table underneath beautiful large velux window.
Bedroom 2: Bright and airy large triple bedroom with a Double bed with bedside tables, plenty of hanging space and storage with radio alarm clock as well as a single bed, additional settee for comfort.
Patio doors leading from the lounge/diner to a south facing patio with garden furniture, barbeque, trampoline and plenty of outdoor games including boule and outdoor jenga;
The garden has is laid to lawn with summer flowers and some herbs and strawberry plants; surrounded by hedges and gated access from the road to the driveway
Parking for two cars in a fully enclosed garden and driveway which is completely safe for all; just two steps lead down from the drive to the patio.
Games room: This is a great space for the whole family; including a pool table, darts board, full size table tennis table and table football. Great at the end of a long day or If you fancy staying at home for the day.
Within easy reach of Mont St Michel; The Normandy Beaches, Granville and many local attractions including the Normandy Luge, Festyland and recently passed by the Tour de France with excellent walking and cycling routes locally.
