Marco and Monica are the best hosts in the world - super friendly and helpful! And their place is absolutely magical!!! We will come back for sure!

Staying with Mario & Monica at Domus Orestea was such a wonderful treat for us! Mario & Monica are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble & we enjoyed an incredible holiday. Our room was spacious & comfortable, breakfast was delicious, with so much choice and gave us the opportunity to chat with the other guests & the pool was very much welcomed for a cooling off swim! Marco & Monica were available to offer advice on local restaurants & suggestions for day trips which we really appreciated. Domus Orestea is an exceptional place to stay & we highly recommend. We are already planning our return trip for next year!

The bathroom could’ve en suite

Breakfast was very good. Monica and Marco were very friendly and Marco was very extremely helpful to the extent he laid on a lift to a restaurant he recommended (which was amazing if quite expensive) The grounds were lush and beautiful.

The surrounding area was a mixture of expensive and run down properties. The pavements were in a very poor and dangerous condition. The standard of cleanliness in the room was poor and our feet got quite dirty walking around. Facilities were very basic. We twice had to ask for toilet rolls. Details listed balcony, bathrobes and dressing room. None of which were there. Also while there was a lovely pool apparently beach towels would have been at extra cost. Some of the pool side loungers were dangerous - liable to collapse and there was little in the way of shade and no sun parasols. Breakfast and lunch prices were not made known at any time until the final bill and had we known perhaps we would have eaten elsewhere.
