This is a very traditional, older Kiwi bach full of vintage character and cozy charm. It features a relaxed living area with a heat pump to keep you perfectly warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The home features three bedrooms and one bathroom:
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 Single Beds
Bedroom 3: 1 Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed
Please note: This home does not have Wi-Fi available, offering a great opportunity to truly switch off. In true classic bach style, the home has a very retro feel and is well-lived-in, meaning a collection of the family`s personal belongings and holiday knick-knacks are present throughout.
Location & Parking
Stunning Location: Situated right across the road from the popular Two Mile Bay boat ramp and the lake.
Boaties` Paradise: Ample off-street parking with plenty of room to safely park both your car and the boat.
Important Guest Information
Linen Options: In the true Kiwi bach tradition, you are welcome to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, and tea towels. Alternatively, you can use our convenient hire service for $17.25 per person—just select this option when booking or let us know in the comments.
Child Safety Note: Because the property is close to the lake and is not fully fenced, children must be supervised at all times. This property is not suitable for toddlers or very small children.
Pet-Friendly (By Request): We welcome a maximum of 1 small-to-medium dog! Please let us know in the comments section if you plan to bring your dog. Note that the section is not fully fenced, and pets must never be left unattended at the property.
Family Bookings Only: Located in a quiet residential area, this home is strictly not suitable for large groups of adults or events.
Guest Surcharge: Base rates cover up to 4 guests. An additional guest surcharge applies for more than 4 people.
When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.
We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.
You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.
