In Buladean, NC, and situated in the majestic Unake mountain range, this nostalgic Farmhouse offers the perfect mountain getaway with 2200 square feet of totally remodeled living space, Central Heat/Air, Living Room (with HD wall-mounted TV), Master Bedroom #1 – King Bed – large walk-in closet and Laundry Room, Master Bedroom #2 – King Bed, TV- Large walk in Closet, Bedroom #3 – two twin beds with walk in closet, Dining Room, Large Sun room – breathtaking mountain views, Large Wrap Around Porch with 5 large Red
Rockers, Large Kitchen, Drive-In Garage with Remote Control, Over 1/2 mile of expansive trout stream on property, and beautiful, dry-stacked stone bridge and entryway. Within steps of the home is a beautiful and bountiful berry patch for guests picking in season: blueberries, blackberries, and red raspberries.

Only 2 miles to Appalachian Trail;
30 minutes to Roan Mountain State Park; one hour to Biltmore House in Asheville; and one hour to skiing at Sugar and Beech Mountains. Within 30 minutes to Penland School and same to Blue Ridge Parkway.
This Farmhouse and property is wrapped with dramatic 180 views of mountains and valley.

About Buladean, NC: Buladean is a tiny community located sixty miles northeast of Asheville in the majestic Unaka Mountain Range. It is situated in Mitchell County, which is well known for its incredible scenery and naturally occurring Rhododendron gardens. Buladean is a lovely place to get away from it all, yet a convenient location to many of North Carolina's most exciting attractions.
The North Toe River flows through the county and joins the Nolichucky River, known as one of the best whitewater rafting rivers in the country. Just a few of the other activities available in the area include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, canoe trips and downhill skiing. For those wanting relaxation, it's also the ideal location to catch up on reading amidst scenic views. Family and I came to celebrate a special time in our family timeline. The healing of my wife! Roger is an amazing host. We got to spend our family time with one another in a very beautiful area. The property is a very quaint and secluded old farm house. Perfect for what we were looking for. A home away from home that is conveniently located near many of the natural beautiful spots to explore and hike. We will be visiting again one day in the near furture. When we do. We intend to try and book this farmhouse again.

Everything was perfect. When you walk in the door it is beautiful and so clean. The view is amazing. We will definitely be back multiple times.

In the past 5 years of using VRBO this is the absolutely best we have ever stayed. Roger was a fantastic host, who made sure that we had everything we needed, including a fresh baked cherry pie. The home was perfect for our family with a great lay out for comfort. The best part was the time spent fishing in the trout stream with family.
