About this apartment rental
Great For Family’s This beautiful property has master bedroom and another large bedroom. Outside sitting area is with an overflow of beautiful landscape. One is a master bedroom with a king size bed and sitting area, large flat screen. master bathroom with a large tub and steam shower. The other room has a queen size bed with a median size bathroom a combined tub/shower. There is a small common area with a refrigerator, microwave, ice dispenser, water cooler and other kitchen supplies that adjoins both rooms. There is a water fountain area and pavilion area with rocking chairs that overlook the bayou. There is available kayaks and a canoe for going down the bayou. For an extra fee gourmet breakfast can be included price depends on group#. Ok

The pool was beautiful, but we didn’t use it.

We were surprised by many aspects of our stay. This rental is perfect if you are hoping for a bed and breakfast experience on the bayou. Pros: delicious breakfast, beautiful property, friendly hosts, kayaks and a canoe available for paddling, nice pool with pretty views. Cons: We did not understand that we were staying in the same home as the hosts. We thought we were in a separate home on the property. We had ongoing interactions with the hosts throughout our stay, almost every time we left the rental. They were very friendly and attentive and seemed very nice, but we're used to a little more privacy when booking homes. There is a partition between the areas and a separate door for guests to get into their area. I also didn't understand from the listing that for 6 people the extra cost automatically added was for a breakfast, not for the 3rd room indicated on the pictures. Just passing on this information to help others avoid my confusion!Overall it was a good experience, and we did truly appreciate their hospitality.

The rooms were great, the hosts were friendly and accomodating, the breakfast was amazing, and the location on the bayou was beautiful and relaxing. I definitely hope to return one day!!

Upon a arrival, the owner(?) was waiting in the driveway and came up to my car window. He then insisted on giving us a tour of the property and pool. During the tour, he revealed that he and his wife would also be staying there during our stay. He even asked us to commit to a time for breakfast the next morning. We were looking for a private getaway. If the listing had been forthcoming, we would have passed
