Cabin in Montana

About this cabin rental
The cabin is adjacent to Cinnabar Creek, which is great for small trout fishing, and has a magnificent porch with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the beautiful mountain view. If you want to just sit back and relax you can spend hours sitting on the porch next to the creek drinking coffee or wine while reading one of our many books or just enjoying the peaceful environment. Watch deer, elk, and big horn sheep in the meadow out the front door, along the creek or on the nearby bluffs. Bears have also been seen from the porch and along the road. If you are really lucky you may even see a mountain lion. During the evening hours make sure to keep an ear open for howling wolves.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, pull out sleeper sofa in main cabin and a Tulikivi Fireplace.
This is a mountain cabin in the heart of Montana’s wilderness. While it has most of the amenities of home, it is still a rustic cabin. We have books, travel guides and games in the cabin. There is no TV or phone in the cabin. WiFi is satellite and therefore not extremely reliable; if you absolutely need internet during every moment of your stay you should look elsewhere. We did just upgrade to Starlink so internet should be faster and more reliable but it is still satellite so could be affected by weather (May 2023).
We allow 2 night stays during off-season and to fill during summer. There is a $75 cleaning fee for 2 night rentals.
All animal photos & photos of surrounding area were taken by Laurel Koller. Ask permission to use any photo.
