Nostalgic atmosphere and beloved by the locals

Hotel with nostalgic flair. Nice personnel. Good breakfast. Delicious self-made cakes. Coffee very good. I saw some local people had their breakfasts or dinners in the hotel, which should be a sign that this is a really beloved hotel.

Exceptional

Homey and rustic. The hotel owners are very friendly and hospitable. They catered my needs even taxi bookings and they tried their best to communicate with me even though I don't speak French. The traditional features of the hotel are well- kept, even the wood furniture and vintage wallpapers. Toiletries and linen were provided and the bed is very comfortable. The room is well- heated too. Getting food was also convenient as the hotel offers a set menu with traditional southern French cuisine. It was really amazing as the hotel owners made me try their local specialties. My stay was spectacular! This place is highly recommended as it offers great services while the price remains affordable.

Like a 50’s film noir set

This hotel can best be described as an authentic film noir experience, the rooms appear to have been untouched since the 50’s as has the entire building, the surrounding location has the same quality, the question of course is might this be the location for you? If your taste is for modern and clean then perhaps not, if however the idea of staying in a room with flower wallpaper on both the walls and ceilings topped off with swirly brown carpet and authentic 50’s plumbing then this is the place for you. The proprietors are Excellent hosts and are entirely in keeping with the environment it might best be best described as an experience. I might add the location is fantastic turn right and you are in a Medieval square which is quite something. Turn left and there is a very good contemporary restaurant All in all Villefranche is a gem of a place particularly on Thursday morning which is market day. As for the accommodation, that is matter of taste.

Very subjective though the combination of the smell of strong bleach and musty carpets was a little eyebrow raising

Pas grand chose, tres déçu

Je ne comprends pas qu'on puisse encore louer des chambres comme ça, de la moisissure partout dans salle de bain, le rideau de douche noir,de la moquette au sol et au mur avec plein de poussière. Même si c'est pas cher c'est abusé.

Accueil très aimable, très bien placé et charme d'un autre temps.

Situation géographique idéale à quelques centaines de mètres de la Collégiale. Parking, commerces et cafés à proximité. Calme.

Le propriétaire m'a expliqué qu'il ne servait plus de petits déjeuners, ce qui est dommage, mais il y a des cafés tout près.

Hotel trop vétuste a la limite de l'insalubre Moquette sur le sol et aux murs très usée sale et pleine de poussière Toiles d'araignées un peu partout Salle de bain pas propre , WC pas propre , baignoire pas propre et joint tout moisi Tout l'hôtel est très sombre et vraiment vieux Une odeur de de poussière , de vieux est présente partout dans l'hôtel

Odeur de renfermé toiles d araignée , pas de savon dans la salle de Bain, vieille moquette du sol au plafond d époque et pas propre

Nous sommes rentrés et ressortis pratiquement aussitôt à cause de l'insalubrité des lieux.

Etablissement insalubre, forte odeur de poussière à cause de la moquette omniprésente, salle de bain salle. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas.

Dit hotel kan echt niet meer in 2025

De locatie in het centrum van de oude stad

Alles in dit hotel is gedateerd. Badkamer met twee te lange douchegordijnen die aan de onderzijde smerig zijn, een handdouche die je niet kunt bevestigen, geen mengkraan in de douche, een doorlopend toilet. Op de kamer zijn bijna alle stopcontacten kapot. De tv werkt op 1 kanaal, het beeld wordt in het centrum zwart geblokt met de mededeling dat er ook andere kanalen zijn gevonden, maar de afstandsbediening werkt niet.

Pas de petit déjeuner proposé. Chambre contiguës avec télévision du voisin qui a fonctionné toute la nuit malgré mon intervention auprès du voisin qui n'a pas ouvert sa porte ni baissé son téléviseur.
