Like a watch tower, this ancient LIAMA is a typical rural building in Salento, in stone and tuff, carefully restored and equipped with every comfort.
Quiet, charming, with an infinite view immersed in the green of ancient olive groves and Mediterranean scrub of myrtle, oleander, rosemary and lentisk.
It is the ideal solution for 2 people (with a romantic double bedroom obtained in the loft of the barn).

"La Torre di Volito" has outdoor appliances that alternate in the green between sun and shade, with deckchairs and tables surrounded by myrtle and mastic, the fresh seats of the large circular table built around an ancient olive tree, the gazebo with table and sitting in the shade of green plants, the ancient pool to cool off and regenerate carved into the rock, and a stone barbecue, for unforgettable aperitifs and dinners under the stars.
Situated on a hill overlooking the Volito Canal and the Felloniche sea, it occupies a land that was once cultivated with vines and the historical signs of the settlement are still visible, the millstones for the crushing and the harvest of the wine, the pajare that they housed the peasants, the stone sheepfold that housed the animals.
And you will be facing on two seas, the Ionian Sea with fine sandy beaches (Felloniche, Torre S. Gregorio, Torre Vado and Pesculuse Maldives) and Adriatic Sea with steep cliffs and caves (Santa Maria di Leuca, Aspro, Ciolo, Novaglie, Guardiola, Castro, to the Terra d'Otranto.
The property is located in Capo di Leuca, in the Otranto-Santa Maria di Leuca Natural Park, Pozzo di Volito Protected Area, a few hundred meters from Felloniche beach.
It's sunny most of the year and every month has its charm and many reasons to be lived.
You go to the sea all year round and take a bath from the end of April to the beginning of November, from the beach, from the rocks or from the boat. Afterwards you can browse through town markets and festivals, take part in cultural events, attend singing and folk dance shows under the stars or at international music concerts. In September you can enjoy the Harvest, at the end of October, the Olive Press and the harvest of Wild Herbs and Myrtle Berries; in December experience the traditional atmosphere of Christmas; in January the clear winter days are anteroom to the blooming of Mimose, Mandorli, Peri and Albicocchi, to the harvest of Asparagus and Wild Fennel, to the explosion of colors of spring flowers that invite to walks and bike rides. And all the year Salento hospitality, excellent cuisine and excellent wines.
And the occasional rains, lived in our land, will be full of charm!

We enjoyed a peaceful few days at this wonderfully compact but well equipped traditional villa with great outdoor space. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quiet getaway.

Wunder- und liebevoll renoviertes Objekt, schön gestaltete und gepflegte Umgebung mit diversen Orten zum Verweilen, ideal für Rückzug und Zweisamkeit - um einfach die Seele baumeln zu lassen und die Luft des Südens zu atmen

C est tout simplement un paradis. Un bout du monde sans être isolé. La Torre entourée d oliviers et de cystes est un havre de paix. Tout y est pensé dans le détail, rien ne manque dans ce logement. Très belle décoration intérieure et dans le jardin où sont aménagés plusieurs lieux pour déjeuner, se reposer. Un charmant bassin où se rafraîchir, une petite mare avec des nénuphars et des poissons rouges. Un lieu très difficile à quitter... Le proprietaire Osvaldo extrêmement disponible, réactif et sympathique comme Michele qui nous a reçus. Inoubliable !!

La proprietà si è presentata molto più piccola di come pensavo la zona di ingresso soggiorno cucina era di me 2,50x 5 … con la scala in mezzo…
Soprattutto per raggiungere la casa era d’obbligo un fuoristrada e la lunghezza dello sterrato da percorrere non era evidenziato…
Dovrebbe essere evidenziato maggiormente l’estrema condizione della
Posizione della casa… e allora la di potrebbe apprezzare e scegliere per lquelle
Caratteristiche … così si resta un po’ spiazzati
