Welcome to Casa Pez Vela Langosta!
This 2 bedroom/2 full bathroom, self-contained unit is on the main floor of a private duplex with a secure, private entrance and a well equipped kitchen to provide you with all you need for a relaxing vacation. This gated property also provides protected off street parking for greater peace of mind. Situated just 150 yards from Playa Langosta (the beach) and 50 yards from the local min-supermarket, this is the ideal location for couples, families or a group of friends ready to hit the surf.
Inside the clean bright bedrooms you will find comfortable Queen sized beds with their own Air Conditioners for your comfort and blackout curtains for those days you wish to sleep in. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, while the spare bedroom has easy access to the second full bathroom with a shower. We supply all linens, along with beach towels.
The kitchen comes equipped with all of your cooking needs, including a double gas burner, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, and blender, as well as all of the cookware you will need. There is a cooler bag and ice-packs to help facilitate your grocery shopping or to take down to the beach and keep your much needed refreshments cold.
The open concept living area has seating for 4 at the pub style table and a pull out sofa for use by an extra guest. The unit does come with full WiFi access and there is a flat screen television with chromecast/Smart TV capabilities. Also provided is a Bluetooth speaker for onsite use and a telephone for local calls. Cleaning for longer stays and laundry service can be provided to guests when prearranged.
Within the walls of the property you will find two nice shady verandas. Guest have private use of the front veranda, which is equipped with a large picnic table. The backyard area is shared with the upper unit and offers a second shaded veranda with seating, a small side table and a comfy hammock. There is also a dipping pool to refresh yourself after your day’s adventure or hard day of laying in the sun. There is an outdoor shower as well, to rinse off the sand and salt from your time at the beach.
Deigned with travellers in mind, Casa Pez Vela is conveniently located in Playa Langosta, close to the beach, which is less crowded than Tamarindo’s busy beaches. There is surfing close by for all levels of surfers from beginner to advanced, however we do caution guests to always check with local surfers for the safest spots for their skill level. There is a mini Supermarket just meters down the road and a few choice restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. In fact, The Surf Club is across the street offering food, games, and fun for adults and kids alike. The bar generally closes before 11 pm however, so noise is not an issue.
Langosta is a quiet residential area. However, it is a short 5 minute bicycle ride to the thriving town of Tamarindo and all of its amenities such as water sports, larger supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants shops, and nightlife. Bicycle, Golf Cart, 4x4, and Car rentals are all available in the area. Walking is very easy for the local beach and will only take 15 minutes to the heart of Tamarindo.

Host was very helpful in arranging for taxing and yours.
However she did not reveal the fact that she had not received any CoVID vaccines until the third week of my stay which made me
Uncomfortable.
The shower’s had no grab bars which due to there size was dangerous for anybody with mobility issues.
It took her 2 months to have a clogged shower head fixed as well as the locks on the various entry doors and gates
The constant barking of the dogs on both sides of the property was disturbing
