A Beatles-inspired getaway in the heart of North Carolina.

We rented this unique home for our daughter’s UNC graduation weekend, and it was the perfect place for our family to celebrate! The location was ideal— about 25 minutes from campus — which made getting back & forth to ceremonies easy.The property had plenty of parking and many fun, interesting things to enjoy, including cool outdoor seating areas, a great gas grill/bar, and super friendly on-site caretakers who were happy to help with anything we needed.I have to mention the three pygmy goats — especially the baby, Eleanor! She was incredibly friendly, and our whole family loved spending time with her.The home itself is quite large with 4 bedrooms and plenty of areas to relax and hang out, including a large enclosed garage with bar seating and three futons that worked great for extra lounging or sleeping.One important thing to note is that the property also includes four additional rental units that aren’t listed together on this site (but can be found on another popular rental site). We rented all of them to accommodate more family members. There are three fun “storage container” units, each with a queen bed, small bathroom, kitchenette, and pull-out sofa that can sleep up to four people. They also have a very cool and surprisingly comfortable “sub/boat” called the Humphries Sub, listed on a camping site, with a double bed inside. Kathy, the property owner, was wonderful — very responsive & easy to work with through the process. We were all extremely happy with our stay!

This house is a gem. Kathy, a wonderful host. We were so comfortable staying here and our family had a great time here! I would strongly recommend! One of the best places we have ever stayed!

This place was the perfect setting to an amazing weekend! We were able to have friends and family stop by to celebrate the night before my son’s wedding! Lots of room and close to everything!
