Location, parking and communication from the owner. Also a very interesting building and a great cafe downstairs.

Bed was a bit smaller than we are used to and the mattress a bit too soft.

Location, location, location! Literally in the heart of Manly and less than 30 metres from the Corso. Room was very neat and clean and it was obvious that the staff put in extra care to ensure our stay was comfortable and easy. Great value for money too. We will drfinitely stay again.

The building is a little tired but this is only a minor trade-off for the location.

Don’t read this review. Seriously. Stop now. Because if you keep reading and this place gets any more popular, I won’t be able to book it again — and I’m already planning my next stay. I stayed at Namely in Manly in the gorgeous one-bedroom apartment, and honestly… it was almost too good. The location? Ridiculously perfect — the Corso and beach are basically 20 steps away (19 if you walk slowly). The bed was so comfortable I considered cancelling all my plans just to lie there. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless and modern. (Thanks for the tea, coffee, milk and chocolates!) Some places forget the milk! And the rooftop pool and BBQ area… don’t get me started. The view of Manly Beach is so good it should come with its own warning label: May cause excessive relaxation and smug Instagram posts. This place makes you briefly believe you could probably live a happy solo life there. Netflix, internet, air-con? All provided. Instructions to find the keys? Foolproof — even after a long day of travel. Communication with the hosts? Excellent. So yes, 10/10, incredible stay. But again… don’t read this. Don’t save it. Don’t tell your friends. I need this place to stay available for me.

Great location and had all the facilities needed. Quiet at night. Flexible and helpful in terms of checkout time - that was appreciated.

Dated facilities and decor. Off bottle of milk in fridge was unpleasant. Air conditioning units noisy.
