Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Downtown Dubai

The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and the room design was amazing. The connecting rooms were arranged perfectly and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and Dubai Mall is only about a 3-minute walk away. Make sure to ask the staff for the shortcut—don’t follow Google Maps because it gives you a much longer route! They also offer free sweets, chocolates, and marshmallows for kids every afternoon, which was a lovely touch. The pool is open until 11 PM and has an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa. A special thank you to Ms. Ghufran, she was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always quick to help with any request. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome.

Feedback on Recent Stay – Room 404 | Mövenpick Apartment Hotel Downtown Dubai 
Dear Team Mövenpick, Thank you for reaching out for feedback on my recent stay at your Downtown Dubai apartment hotel. I appreciate the opportunity to share my observations, which I hope will be taken in the right spirit. At the outset, I would like to compliment your staff. Their efficiency, cooperation, and courteous attitude were exemplary. In terms of responsiveness and behaviour, I would rate the staff a clear 10/10. However, there are several aspects of my stay that, in my opinion, require serious attention—particularly considering that the booking was made through Booking.com, paid for in full in advance, and charged at a premium tariff. 1. Bathroom & Plumbing
- Low water pressure in the shower.
- Persistent odour (trap air) in the bathroom. 2. Overall Lighting
- Inferior lighting even during the day.
- Inadequate artificial lighting affects usability. 3. Electrical & Switch Design
- Confusing switching system.
- Lighting switches are not located near the bed. 4. Housekeeping, Linen & Amenities
- Bed sheets and pillow covers are not fresh on arrival.
- Linen reportedly changed once every three days; fresh linen should be provided for new guests.
- Disposable kits are provided upon request, but should be preloaded. 5. In-room Safe
- Safe not operational due to drained battery; replaced after request.
- Should have been checked before arrival. 6. Noise & Acoustics
- Windows not fully soundproof; traffic noise audible. 7. Room Allocation
- Requested a higher floor; allotted Room 404 without flexibility (may be due to booking via third party, viz Booking.com), the direct customer must be allocated better rooms. My booking was not last-minute; it was done well in advance, so why such step-motherly treatment?) 8. Spa Odour
- Strong spa oil fragrance throughout the 4th-floor corridor. 9. Breakfast Experience
