Everything at VIN was incredible! The unique style, decor and architecture were stunning. Old and new concepts intertwined. Rustic but modern. And the view! Stunning! The pool was beautiful although the weather was too cold for swimming by October. I loved our room with a real wood burning fireplace. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh omelettes to order. We went to Starri’s (the owner) wine tasting when we arrived and had a blast. Starri’s knowledge and enthusiasm in new and old wines was impressive and so fun. I didn’t want it to end! We laughed so much! Dinner at VIN was a lovely culinary experience with Starri himself serving tables. His dedication and attention to every detail at VIN is evident in everything he does. Starri is someone I will continue follow as I’m sure he will create even more amazing things!

The view, the restaurant, and the room.
Staff were excellent and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy.
Food was lovely, chef friendly, nothing any trouble.
We will come back and that says it all really
Small thing, but would have liked a few tables with umbrellas up around pool. As some couples took over the covered spot for the day, leaving towels and a few procession there all day whether they were there or not, so no one else could use it.

Our stay at VIN Hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The location, set beautifully in the hilltops of the Maremma region of Tuscany, was in peaceful surroundings overlooking forested valleys and charming villages in the distance. We stayed in the villa and enjoyed starlit evenings on the patio with the sounds of nature all around us. Starri, the owner, and the staff at VIN Hotel were amongst the friendliest, warmest and passionate people we have come across. We learned so much about the region’s foods and wines from them (would highly recommend the wine tastings!). Delicious breakfasts and dinners were enjoyed in the fabulous outdoor/indoor restaurant surrounded by amazing views. The relaxed and convivial atmosphere at the hotel was so nice - we met lovely people from all over. The standard and quality of service, rooms, common areas etc was excellent, everything is well designed and thought through by people who care. The hammock swing overlooking the valley was magical! We were in want of nothing and had the most splendid holiday, it goes without saying that we will be back! This is a truly special place, run by the most wonderful people!
There is nothing we didn’t like about this property.

Beautiful property up in the Tuscan mountains. We had a comfortable deluxe room. Big plus for us were the soft beds. The pool is a chill pool, perfect for relaxing. The restaurant was lovely as well.
You need to keep in mind that the property is located on a mountain which means it is cooler and quite a lot of wind. For example after a long day in Siena with 30degrees we would look forward to dip in the pool but sometimes by the time we got back it was +- 24 degrees with a cool wind which was, for us, too cool to relax by the pool. A windscreen or something similar would be a plus at the poolarea. But i am sure if you stay there when it’s hotter that it is absolutely perfect :)
