What a stylish, roomy, and comfortable place in Honfleur! A stone's throw from the colorful harbor, not far from free parking, and easy walks to sights, restaurants, and shopping. This was our base for five days, allowing us to drive north to explore the alabaster cliffs of Normandy, as well as Honfleur's history. Checking in was easy with Carol there to meet us. All in all, a very satisfying stay!

Our family of six stayed here while touring Normandy. This apartment was perfect: clean, well decorated, centrally located, & with a beautiful view of the harbor. The location couldn't be better - right on the harbour - and seconds away from bars, restaurants and shops. We loved Honfleur and agreed it was such a charming town with beautiful architecture. The apartment was spacious for our family of six. It was clean and had all of the amenities we neeeded. The marina which we could view from the dining area is but a small block away. The apartment is right in the midst of the town with restaurants and shopping right outside the door. We really enjoyed our stay and the host Carol was very nice and helpful. If we visit this area again we would certainly want to stay here.

My wife and I stayed with our three children for five days in this beautiful apartment. We loved everything about the apartment. The apartment is very well located and even though it is very central it is peaceful and quiet. We loved to watch Honfleur come to live in the morning from the living room window. The apartment was clean and very well stocked. The apartment was as well spacious and beds were very comfortable. We felt save and well taken care of. We had very warm welcome and Carol is a wonderful host and very reachable which we value a lot. We will definitely be back in the near future.

This property is centrally located in the heart of Honfleur with a view of the marina. Parking was a few blocks away but reachable within 5 minutes. The unit is very modern and clean and was very well provisioned with everything that one could need. We were met at the unit by a friendly woman who assisted us with information about the surroundings and repeatedly offered to assist and repeatedly checked in with us to inquire if we needed anything. The beds were comfortable and everything in the unit worked although there is no AC. The unit can be a little noisy at night because it is located so close to the city center. On whole, it was a very positive experience. I would return without hesitation and would recommend the property without reservation.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property manager, Carol, was exceptional. We accidentally left our keys in the flat and she was accomodating and so, so kind and generous with her time. She went out of her way to help us back into the flat. The flat has plenty of space and all that you need. We appreciated the washer & dryer and they even supplied detergent. The kitchen is fully equipped and we enjoyed a few make-your-own-meals. It's located in the heart of the city and close to everything, art galeries, restaurants, Eric Satie's house, the grocery store, and a Saturday market. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in my life - and we have travelled all over the world. The location is outstanding and the facilities are exceptional and everything required. We were very impressed with this apartment! The views of the port were amazing and the location was very central. Restaurants, cafes, and dessert places were just around the corner. The apartment itself was very nice too. The kitchen and dining room were a high light - bright, clean, and views from all the windows. Carol was also such an easy person to talk to and very helpful. She made us feel right at home and the check-in/check-out procedure was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this apartment.

We had a wonderful stay for 6 of us in This Honfleur flat. It’s in a historic building with an amazing view over the harbor. The flat has been nicely renovated and has a well appointed and supplied kitchen. We were welcomed and well taken care of throughout our trip, including fresh flowers, wine and snacks. Honfleur is a delightful and scenic town with lots of good restaurants and interesting sights. We used this flat as a home base for exploring Normandy. Free parking is available about 5 blocks away. As mentioned earlier the flat is up two flights of steep winding stairs, so this flat is best for those who don’t have a problem negotiating stairs.

This beautiful apartment was the perfect place for 6 people. There was so much space for us all. We could really feel relaxed there. We were welcomed by a wonderful lady, Rosie, who was waiting outside when we arrived. The owners sent us detailed info ahead of time about the area which was incredibly helpful as well. The apartment was clean, and contained absolutely everything we could need. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

Great flat with spectacular view. Upgraded, modern kitchen and bathrooms. Manager very helpful and responsive to any and all questions. Stairs are winding, narrow and steep so bit tricky getting luggage in and out. Parking -- can pay 22€ per day a couple of blocks away or free parking maybe 8 blocks away. Just need a bit of planning.

The apartment was even better than the pics suggest, being extremely light and spacious with quality fittings and furnishings throughout. The grandstand view of the old harbour, of which we never tired, being the icing on the cake. Okay, the stairs are a bit steep and winding and there is some street noise with the windows open, but a small price to pay for a terrific property in a fabulous location. Thomas was a delight to deal with and extremely helpful and efficient. Will definitely return.

The apartment is a wonderful space with a great view of the harbor/basin of Honfleur. 3 nice bedrooms (2 at one end of the apartment, and 1 at the other end) and 2 full baths, plus a large well-stocked kitchen, living/dining room, and separate sitting room. It's a large airy space, kid-friendly and thoughtfully appointed with games and beach toys, and a high chair. The view of the harbor is great for people-watching; our 2-yr old enjoyed watching as she ate breakfast each morning. The kitchen has everything you need to cook large or small meals with the ingredients you find in Honfleur. The wifi works throughout. While it's right in the center of the bustling town, it's in a relatively quiet location - no bars or loud restaurants for a distance, so sleeping is peaceful other than for the occasional truck or moped. The host Thomas was very helpful and attentive to make sure we were comfortable. Honfleur is a great base to enjoy and explore the Normandy coast from. We'd definitely love to stay here again!

As a family of two adults (jnr) and two children plus two seniors, we recently spent another wonderful week in Honfleur. We were met by Thomas, the apartment Manager who we'd previously been in contact with and who I must say, was very helpful in responding promptly to all messages. Ideally located in the very heart of Honfleur, with a lovely view of the Vieux Bassin from the dining room, this apartment is very light and airy, spotlessly clean, and extremely well equipped throughout. We were particulaly pleased with the range and and quality of equipment in the kitchen, and the comfort of the beds. The laundry facilities too were much appreciated. The apartment is ideal for six people - possibly another easy chair in the kitchin/dining room would be an added comfort for anyone not wishing to sit in the TV lounge of an evening. Worth mentioning for those with mobility problems is that the apartment is on the second floor and the stairs up to the apartment are steep, winding and narrow. Having stayed in various apartments before in Honfleur we were prepared for some stairs, but these did prove difficult for my husband (snr) who also has vision impairment. Overall this is a great apartment, in a superb location, well appointed and maintained to a high standard. We would highly recommend.

The flat is right in the centre of Honfleur so perfect for the harbour and town. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality crockery, utensils, glasses cooking pots etc. The beds are comfy and the flat is immaculate and spotlessly clean and has lovely views of the harbour. Couple of downsides - it was minus degrees outside the weekend we stayed the flat was REALLY cold when we arrived and took 24 hours to warm up - it would have been nice if the management had warmed it prior to our arrival. The power kept tripping out and initially there was no hot water in the shower room - luckily my husband is an electrician so was able to sort it! There is no comfy lounge to sit around of an evening to chat - ok in the summer as you would probably be sat out on the harbour but not so good in the winter when it's cold outside. And I don't recall the desciption of the flat describing the stairs up to flat!!!! Not for the faint hearted!! Certainly DO NOT consider this flat if you have mobility problems. The apartment manager Tom was helpful when we arrived and showed us where to park for free which was a LONG away from the apartment but a lovely walk through the town and was available by phone if/when we had a problem. However as we had a long journey home we were ready to leave half an hour prior to the time we told Tom. When I phoned him to explain this and ask where the keybox was to leave the keys he was not happy and insisted he check the place before we left so we had to wait for him to check the apartment before we could leave! This made us feel very uncomfortable and in all the places we have stayed before this has never happened especially in view of the fact that the property has an extremely LARGE deposit amount attached to it! All this said though I would recommend the property to friends and family (who are able bodied) as it is in such a fabulous central place and is furnished to a very high standard.

The apartment was lovely: great views over the harbour and central location; spacious; modern and stylish furniture and a great selection of DVDs. Wifi was included and fast; it allowed all of us to be connected at the same time. The kitchen was also well equipped. All as described on the website. The apartment is situated in a very central location in an old building. We did not mind at all, but some street noise is therefore inevitable. Many shops, restaurants, art galleries and nice buildings are on the doorstep. A sandy beach is a 20 min walk away. Thomas was a great help and responded promptly to texts and messages. He also provided some useful tips for restaurants and parking (about 10 min walk away from the apartment). Overall, the five of us had a great stay. Highly recommended!

What a truly wonderful time we had in this superbly appointed flat in Honfleur. The extremely spacious flat was spotless, well-presented and very well equipped. The photos, while giving an accurate representation of what you can expect to find, really do not do justice to how light and airy the flat actually is. It was lovely to able to open the large windows and have the sounds of this bustling harbour town wafting in - in fact, sitting at the dining table, refreshments in hand, watching the world go by was one of the highlights of the holiday! We enjoyed the location of the flat too. There are numerous shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, yet the entrance to the flat is located on a peaceful street a few paces away from the harbour. There is a large sandy beach on the other side of town - it is about a 30 minute walk away, but is reached by pleasant walks either through the peaceful Jardin du Personalities or down the promenade (the walk to the beach also gives you a chance to check up on your car in the free car park which is on the way!). There is also Jardin du Tripot, a small but perfectly formed public garden hidden just behind the flat, which was pleasant for a meander through on our way to explore the numerous medieval streets of Honfleur. I think that the only point to note would be that the two flights of entrance stairs to the flat are narrow, curved and steep. I was just pleased that we had not taken any large cases, but they could be a concern for people with mobility issues. Finally, a big thank you to Thomas - the property manager - who provided an excellent courteous, prompt and professional service throughout and ensured that he did all he could to make sure that our stay was perfect. I can't recommend this accommodation highly enough and we hope to return soon.

The apartment was perfect for my two teenaged sons and my wife. It was located in a simply gorgeous spot (the view shown in the listing doesn't do justice to the actual view), it was easy to locate, near restaurants, museums, the Wednesday organic market, and grocery stores. There are patisseries and fromageries within 2 blocks of the flat. Everything you need is easy to access. The only downside to the location is the lack of parking, but there is a free lot less than 1/2 mile away, that takes you past lovely parks en route. It's a minor inconvenience, though. The flat itself is very nicely appointed and spacious, although the stairs leading to the flat, while appropriate for a 19th century building are a tad difficult with large luggage. Fortunately, the flat is on the 2nd floor. I appreciated the separate television room, and having laundry facilities in the flat was essential. Honfleur is also well situation to visit the D-Day beaches, Rouen and Caen, all good day trip options. I would heartily recommend La Petit Escape. On a final note, Thomas Court, the property manager is a very helpful, interesting man. Ask for his recommendations for dining out and you will not be disappointed.

This was a lovely, well maintained and clean apartment in a great location of Honfleur! We loved our stay and were very comfortable. The pictures are very true to what you will see when you arrive. (You can't beat the view!) Thomas, the local who handles the "check in" and "check out" process was very nice and knowledgable. It was nice knowing he was available if we needed him. One thing to note about this apartment is that it you will need to climb two narrow, winding flights of stairs, very typical of older French buildings. If you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, it might cause some anxiety. We would love to come back some day. Thank you for letting us live like a local in this beautiful apartment!

Stayed in the apartment in late May 2016 and I have to say its really nice. A good layout with 2 good bedrooms and a smaller room with 2 singles that looks fine for kids. Its open, modern, light, clean, well appointed and spacious and looks even better than the pictures. The view on to the old harbour is charming. Also the location is absolutely ideal, you walk out the door and you are straight on to the old harbour, shops and restaurants and the supermarket is 5 mins stroll away. The service was also good, all my questions answered before, then met by the owner and showed around in detail and finally the deposit was returned quickly and without any hassle. Are there any downsides? Not really, just a couple of notes: the communal stairs are a little narrow, not a problem for most people; free parking is a bit of stroll away, again not a problem. Would I recommend it? Definitely.

Wonderful short break at the property. The view from the window across the old harbour was wonderful. Spent much time, glass of wine in hand people watching. Brilliant location and the walk to the free parking was not onerous and worked off the calories from the pastries and chocolates. Everything you could want for your stay was provided, in more than sufficient quantities and of good quality which was nice. Tom who saw us in was most courteous. Excellent central location, double glazing killed what little road noise there was so got excellent nights sleep in very comfortable beds. Would recommend to all especially those who like a view and people watching.
