Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Fushimi

The location is awesome. Just 1 metro stop (or a few bus stops) to the central station, and just 5 minutes walking to the Science museum. The hotel is superquiet and surrounded by both large avenues and small streets with lots of restaurants and convenience stores. Also a great point of the place is the onsen, a Japanese bath available at the hotel itself, super nice after a long day walking around. One extra issue: we went during a heat wave in Summer, and the hotel was offering free ice creams (as well as free coffee), which is always a small detail but very nice thing to do.

The room itself felt very tiny. Ok, we had the standard one, the cheapest, with just 14m, but it feels like it included corridor and bathroom! We were a couple with a little baby and it was quite inconvenient (even for a couple with one bag it would seem small).

The shower had the best water pressure that I’ve ever experienced in any hotel throughout the world - and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels.

Glad I brought my own pillow because the pillow in the room was like a rock.

Good location with only one subway stop to the main station. Staff were lovely and when we needed anything they gave it straight away The restaurant down stairs was actually a great price and really good food

We had a twin room for 4 of us which is very tight but we but pushed the beds together . If our kids were any older it wouldn’t have worked .

Close to a subway line to get to Studio Ghibli, friendly staff and clean hotel.
