Beautiful position in the middle of the countryside, overlooking open fields and the sea. Very near to the Wales Coastal Path and to a secluded beach, Traeth Beach, that is empty and stunning. Very comfortable cottage. Ideal for relaxing, reading on a nice sofa with a nice sea view, and of course for exploring the area by foot or car. Mandy, the host, is absolutely great. Very helpful lady, with a good sense of humour. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped although the pans were a bit on the small side for the perfect pasta boiling, but probably good enough for most of people. The Granary Cottage is definitely worth to return to.

The location was just lovely - quiet, peaceful, lovely views and close to the coastal path. It was just exactly what I was looking for as a quiet retreat for a few days to read and paint and just get away from it all. I saw a fox and her cubs walking past the patio doors in the twilight - it was such a joy, you just go oooooh, wow. There were no sounds of people - just birds and sheep, and the wind and the sea. And the sunsets ! Fab.
I don't think this is a negative really but a right of way goes past the patio doors and so there were occasional walkers some of which didn't seem to know where the path went. It didn't bother me - in fact I rather liked this occasional touch with other people and the outside world but I suppose some people might mind. Some of the furnishings were a bit shabby but who cares about that - the views made up for that a hundred-fold.

Very cosy, lovely sea view from sofa, good size for two people, nice and generous sized kitchen, nice to have a private garden, lovely and quiet during the night, great access to coast path and beaches, liked having sheep as neighbours.
Public footpath right outside windows and main door (busy during summer), no frying pan.

Breakfast wasnt included but that didnt worry us as its well kitted out for self catering. The location was beautiful, peaceful and mandy the host was exceptionally welcoming.
Ther were no ironing appliances or large upstand mirror. TV could be a bit bigger and may be a little larger setee.
