Good for one night stay

Good restaurant in the hotel

Basic rooms. The room in the second floor was very small, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was very basic and was not rifilled, as even we were not late

It is in a small town near Singen and the Bodensee, so getting there requires a car, although there is public transportation available. Not much to do in the evening in town.

Very nice 1 night stay

Nice place to stay for 1 night. I had a very comfortable room above the beer garden and it wasn't noisy. Food in the beer garden/restaurant was excellent . Breakfast was in the new building a couple of minutes walk along the street. Free car parking adjacent to the beer garden

Good stay on way to swiss

Location is good with vicinity to many things. Breakfast was good. Very popular restaurant at ground floor of hotel. Rooms are modernised. Very friendly staff.

Beds can be bit more comfortable. Breakfast is in other property which is new building of this hotel. Reception for restaurant and hotel is same thus always busy with customers especially if you are checking in at dinner time.

rooms overlooking the terrace of the restaurant can be noisy until midnight. no curtains but sunshade son the windows - if you want to keep windows open, you cannot keep the room dark

Lovely breakfast in the new hotel

It was hot but no electric fans were made available, and with the windows open it was very noisy from traffic and people in the early hours. Having said that the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.

The place is clean, and has everything you would need in a hotel room.

.Disclaimer: they have two buildings. We stayed in the old one (we couldn't choose anyway). Well, we had very little water pressure so it took very long to shower. The breakfast was average: it didn't have anything hot to eat (only boiled eggs).

Great price for last min booking

For a last minute booking, this hotel was great, clean, staff really friendly and a great price for two people with breakfast. The breakfast room and food choice was lovely, and the option to eat in the restaurant at the hotel was also handy. Room had everything needed, towels, and hairdryer etc.

The only two downfalls for us were that one side of the bed was extremely squeaky and loud, just minimal movement created a loud sound which made it difficult to sleep on the first evening. But that could have just been our room. Secondly, the cleaner started earlier than we expected for a Saturday morning (we wanted a little lie in) which was a bit loud.

not going back

breakfast was ok

the location of the hotel, but mostly our room, it was changed last minute, not only did we get the room on the top floor, very hot and not enough air coming in, but it was also the one facing the main road. since it was so hot and miserable in the room we had to leave the window open all night, not that it helped much, so at 0530 am traffic was non-stop outside our window and the churchbells right next door started going off at 6am every 15 minutes, it wouldn't 've been so bad if we would've been able to close our windows, but because of the heat there was no way. so if you're looking for a nice comfy place to relax and sleep in, this isn't it. also there was no one around at checkout, we ended up having to give the room key to the cleaning lady. I stayed in a lot nicer places for half the cost, I know we won't be going back.

Great to be able to bring my dogs to the hotel + breakfast room. Easy check in - we arrived on a Friday and the restaurant was closed so we checked in remotely - they had a key locker system which worked very well. Breakfast was super

Sehr gut für Kurztripp

Freundlich, familiär und engagiert geführtes Haus mitten im Ort, gute Parkplatzsituation in Hausnähe (wichtig auf Durchreise). Frühstück guter Standard. Zweiter Besuch dort als Gast für eine Nacht. Sollte sich die Gelegenheit ergeben, auch ein drittes Mal. Tipp für Radtourer: Fahrt mit schönen Passagen am Aachufer nach Moos an den See und zurück.

Schönes Hotel, das Zimmer modern und gemütlich eingerichtet, super nettes Personal, beim Frühstück war alles da, was man braucht, Essen im Wirtshaus super lecker

Wir hatten ein Zimmer, im Stammhaus, genau über dem Biergarten, zu einer Zeit, als es sehr heiß war. Man konnte nachts kein Fenster öffnen wegen dem Lärm vom Biergarten, wo bis zwei - drei Uhr sehr laut gefeiert wurde. Zum Glück hatten wir einen kleinen Ventilator dabei, der es wenigstens einigermaßen erträglich gemacht hat. Nochmal werden wir das Hotel nicht buchen. Zum Glück waren es nur zwei Nächte. Das Bad war etwas klein

Es gibt schöne Spaziergänge direkt vom Hotel. Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend, Reservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Da Hunde im Frühstücksraum nicht erlaubt sind, durften wir unser Frühstück im Nebenraum einnehmen, damit unsere Stella uns begleiten konnte.
