About this house rental
This townhome property in Solara is gorgeous, with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms as well as a private splash pool. All of the rooms in this house has flat-screen TVs. You will enjoy this property, as it provides a very warm and inviting feel for all who stay here. There is a master bedroom suite on the first level and the rest of the bedrooms are upstairs.
As you walk into the property you will find the master suite to the right. This room has a large King-sized bed with a large open window view to the outside. This room has its own TV for your viewing pleasure. This master bedroom also has a private ensuite bathroom that houses a vanity with sink, stand up shower and toilet. On the main level you will also find a half pool bath that has access to the pool area. The open kitchen is gorgeous with stainless steel appliances, and a big island with seating. There is also a dining room area where nice, quiet dinners can be served and enjoyed. The living room has comfy couches and a flat screen TV, with a view of the outside pool area. The pool area is also very relaxing. It has a splash pool that the kids can enjoy, and a small outdoor dining area.
When you go upstairs you will find the second living room and the other four bedrooms. The first room to your right is a bedroom that has a queen bed and a bathroom ensuite. This room also has a reading area for all of our guests to sit and enjoy. The next bedroom next to it is a bedroom that has two twin beds. The room has a Star Wars theme and is decorated for all the kids to enjoy. The last remaining fifth bedroom has two twin beds in it and has a superhero theme to it.
When staying in this house, you have access to all the resort amenities! Solara Resort is located in the Davenport area with easy access to Orlando’s theme parks, dining, and shopping. Just 30 miles from Orlando International Airport, Solara Resort features resort amenities such as a huge pool, children`s splash pad and interactive water slide. You will also find a fitness center, coffee & gelato café, sundry shop, and game room.
Enjoy all that Orlando has to offer such as the theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and other attraction such as I-Drive, City Walk & Disney Springs; Shopping malls such as The Mall at Millenia, The Florida Mall and The Outlet Mall. Sports events include Orlando City soccer and Orlando Magic basketball.
Just over an hour drive away you will find some of Florida’s favorite beaches such as Cocoa Beach, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Orlando area and this townhome was the perfect place to stay. Our family of four (mom, dad, one teen, and one school-age kid) had plenty of space to stretch out in the second floor suite of bedrooms, while my parents and their dog were able to easily maneuver about the first floor master suite. The large kitchen on the first floor was well-stocked with cookware and we were able to prepare a full dinner on Christmas Day, as Publix was just a short drive away. The entire unit was nicely decorated - I thought the Star Wars themed kid’s bedroom with matching twin beds was adorable and my daughter thought the beds were super comfy. We relied on Uber to get around and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a car. All in all I would recommend this vacation home to families looking for an alternative to a hotel or timeshare.

Although the townhouse was nice and fit everyone comfortably, there were a couple of things that were not so nice. I don't think it was cleaned properly before our arrival. The sectional and white dining room chairs looked as if they had old ketchup stains on them. There was dust throughout most of the vents in the home. There were multiple lamps that did not work. Some of the lights in the bathroom would randomly turn off. The house was also very hot at times being that we could not turn the thermostat which was very inconvenient because it was extremely hot outside. The house temperature was 74 degrees and outside it was 82 degrees. The floors needed to be mopped and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. There are no ceiling fans or light fixtures in any of the rooms which means you have to rely on natural lighting or the lamps (if your lamp happens to work). Also, it would be nice if there were some curtains in the living room and bathroom by the pool because you can see right into the house which is kind of creepy. Other than that the townhouse and resort was nice.
