About this house rental

Owl's House at Treven sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms. This is the perfect place to relax, spread out and recharge. The property features a huge 30ft. open plan sitting room and kitchen featuring open beams, and comfortable seating for everyone. Doors open onto a sunny patio and fully enclosed garden which is not overlooked. There is a double bedroom with en-suite, a twin and a single. The separate family bathroom has a free standing bath and walk in shower. The location is very peaceful but a short drive to attractions, beaches and shopping.

Covid-19- Bookings are fully refundable if government restrictions on travel do not permit bookings to go ahead.

Beautiful cottage and location. Much bigger than we expected and lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed the thoughtful welcome gifts and Naomi messaged back quickly when I had questions. Great location, close to lots of amenities and entertainment. Will definitely be staying again!

Owls house is such a lovely property in a great location for exploring. Despite being down a true cornish lane, it was easy to get to and was incredibly quiet. Our 2 mini dachshunds loved the open plan living space and the garden was 100% secure which meant we could fully relax (the garden gate had chicken wire to ensure no small floofs could escape which was a bonus!)There was plenty of space for the 2 of us for the week and it would definitely be big enough for 5. The sofas and beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped and the addition of a dishwasher was great.Would gladly stay again in the future and recommended to friends and family

A lovely spacious cottage in a very quite location. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was spa ious and well equipped. The garden was enclosed and good for the dog. Would stay here again. The owner Niaomi kept in contact making sure we had everything we needed. dog.

This was our first time staying in a barn conversion. Appreciated: the spacious open-plan living/dining room/kitchen. the peace and quiet of the location supplementary heating to give the room a boost quick responses from the owner The master bedroom was rather small but we overcame that challenge by using the single room as our dressing room and a place for our suitcases. The kingsize mattress was too soft for our preference but would probably suit others. Would have appreciated blinds or curtains at the windows and door in the hallway corridor for an extra sense of privacy.

Perfectly located - it felt as though we were no more than 15 minutes from anywhere - cottage was lovely, just right for the five of us. Beds were comfy, living room/kitchen/dining area were great. Wish we'd had the weather to use the BBQ and hammock.

Owl House is charming! It was beautifully clean, spacious and there was plenty of hot water! There are many beautiful sandy beaches and restaurants with delicious seafood all within easy reach. The kitchen was also well stocked with essential cooking equipment which came in handy for the evenings we decided to stay home. I can thoroughly recommend Owl House and would happily stay there again. 😊

We were very impressed when we entered the property, it is better than the pictures. The small enclosed garden was great and had table, chairs and BBQ. Kitchen well equipped. Great bath with lots of hot water. wi fi good. Overall everything was great

Fantastic location to reach multiple beaches in a short time. Nice airy property kept to the highest standard of cleanliness. Beautiful enclosed garden was perfect for child and dog to run around... would be something extra special with lighting in the evening (maybe solars) Other properties we have rented have little welcome packs with tea, coffee milk and a warm welcome note. 2 double bedrooms would have been more suitable for our group. Overall a lovely property

The property was exactly as it showed online......very spacious and very comfortable......the lounge was particularly good to relax in......having two bathrooms was really useful as well.....the kitchen was spacious & very well equipped.....pretty garden with table & chairs......the owners had thought of everything.......it was lovely to be able to take our dog with us ........the converted barn is down a long pretty country lane, so is quiet & peaceful, yet you are only a short drive from Hayle, the beaches & other popular sights....... I would recommend this property to anyone.....thanks so much

Lovely weekend stay. Naomi was very helpful recommending places to visit and popped by to make sure all was ok . The only down fall on the cold side on the evenings and lack of info on how to work heating. We would definitely recommend visiting birdies bistro in Hayle lovely food by the quay.

Location is excellent being able to visit so many beautiful places in all directions. My only disappointment ( slight) was being unable to walk the dogs on the many footpaths surrounding the property as they were all ploughed ready for planting. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and very cosy and warm.

We have just returned from a lovely week stay at this property, we loved it! Living area is really spacious! The garden was completely enclosed, which gave us peace of mind with our dogs. The location is just perfect, most amenities a short drive away, however the barn has all the positives of being out in the peace and quiet! We really hope to stay here again :)

This is a stunning barn conversion tucked away down small cornish lane. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely secluded garden for our dog as well. Naomi was a very welcoming host.

The barn is nice and spacious and set down a VERY narrow lane. Loved the garden, so peaceful and enclosed for our dog. Property let down by cobwebs everywhere and spiders, so many things not working like the stereo, only 1 side of toaster, TV pixelates, bbq grim, garden table needs jet washing, so many light bulbs not working, cupboard door hanging off, a pair of pants left on the washing line! they obviously don't check before guests arrive which should be a necessity. The worst thing was whilst we were leaving and stripping the beds I found the most disgusting brown stained pillow on our bed!! I felt sick! Standards should have been much higher considering the amount we paid to stay for the week, we would like some form of refund to compensate. We left a list for the owner of and she did reply saying she hoped the defects did not detract too much from our holiday . No mention of the pillow! and that she hopes we find a place we prefer next time.... no mention of a goodwill gesture refund.

I was surprised how convenient the cottage was despite being out of town and rural. Getting to beaches either side of the coast was easy to get to with short journey times. Hayle is the nearest town with Asda as your closest supermarket and pubs etc. We stayed with our 3 teens and dogs and enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day ..... could even sign into Netflix which was a bonus! Naomi was always helpful and accommodating, it was very handy to be able to ask for help if we needed it. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We booked this last minute and we’re not disappointed, the location is perfect for exploring Cornwall. It’s beautiful and quite here, away from the crowds. The cottage is homely, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge. The owners were great, gave us some good tips on quiet local beaches etc. Wld definitely visit again!

Our family of 5 and our cavapoo stayed here for May half term and it was perfect! Really well equipped property with lots of games and books for the kids . We loved the garden - it is fenced off so was perfect for the dog to run around. Location was great as it’s central to everywhere - we used the nearby St Erth park and ride to visit St Ives and Carbis bay - that was really convenient. Naomi was very welcoming and was on hand for any queries we had. Would definitely recommend this property!
