About this cabin rental
For the adventurous at heart looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape into nature and to experience some off-grid living, come and stay in our cosy and rustic Eco-Yurt high up in our little mountain retreat.
We built our space in a rustic style using mainly recycled, up-cycled and local materials to try to be as eco-friendly as possible. The Yurt is 30m2 so there is plenty of space for up to 6 adults to sleep in the hand-made bunk-beds provided. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, 2 ring hob and all the pots, pans and plates that you’ll need. There is also a small fridge with freezer. The bathroom has a shower with hot water and a dry toilet. The electric is 12v and we have an inverter for charging laptops and phones. We can also provide up to 2 hours a day of 240v electricity from our generator if needed.
We are situated 640m above sea level, high up in the mountains of the Eo valley in Galicia, Northern Spain, straddling the Asturias border. Our closest neighbor is 2kms away, so you'll have plenty of privacy to do as you like.
You have full access to our property which is just over 1 hectare and the surrounding area. I also live on the property, but tucked away in the corner. I am more than happy to help you out with whatever you may need and help point you in the right direction or to leave you in peace to enjoy your stay.
The road leading up to the property is a dirt road, but you can easily make it in a regular car. We'll be happy to meet you in A Pontenova or Taramundi to pick you up and show you the way.

Wonderful way to escape the world. Lose track of time and live a simple life surrounded by nature.
Warm and cosy yurt. With gas stove, elec lighting (and phone recharger.)
Host is an incredible man to have created all this.
Access roads with loose stones - longer one a bit dusty; the other a bit steep but shorter (a few minutes)........but well worth it. Dont need a 4x4, but probably best not in a new car (like we did!).
Will definitely visit again.
