In ten minutes by car, however, it is possible to reach various beaches, all surrounded by greenery and characterized by crystal clear waters, including the beach of I Vranne, listed as the most beautiful beach in Italy by Legambiente. Maratea is a place that will leave you breathless: a walk in the tourist port or in the historic centre, an excursion to the Grotta delle Meraviglie, a visit to the Christ of Maratea (a unique specimen together with that of Rio de Janeiro) will make you want to don't leave this place again.
