About this apartment rental
This is a cozy and contemporary apartment situated in a traditional Lisbon building built in the beginning of the Sec. XX. The apartment was completely refurbished in October 2017!
Located in the typical and famous district of Alfama, right next to the entrance to the Castle of São Jorge, this charming apartment offers you all the comfort and, from here, you can easily access the most typical places of Lisbon.
The apartment is located in the heart of the famous area of Castelo de São Jorge but in a very quiet street. The location could not be better. From here you can easily walk and visit the most interesting points of Lisbon such as the Castle of São Jorge, the Cathedral, Alfama, Chiado, Feira da Ladra, Baixa Lisboeta or the riverside area. It is also a few meters from the most famous viewpoint of Lisbon, "Miradouro da Portas do Sol" and very close to the "Miradouro da Graça".
Inside the apartment you will find all amenities, including air conditioning, cable TV, wireless internet, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, hob, washer and dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, citrus fruits, toaster, kettle, iron and hairdryer. In the bathroom you will find a fantastic shower.
The apartment was set up for two people, having a bedroom with a double bed, but an extra bed can be added. Please note that the room is en suite so access to the bathroom, in case there is a third person, will always be done by the room.
The famous electric 28 is only 100 meters from the apartment.
Linen and bath linens will be provided, as well as shower gel, shampoo and body lotion.

The host team for this property is top-knotch. There was a problem at the property we originally booked (connected to this review) and they quickly switched us to a different property for two of our 3 nights that was wonderful, and then we got to experience a different neighborhood on the third night that was even better. The accommodations they made for us were great and communication was great through whatsapp. Highly recommend this host.

Great start to our vacay. Good location, as long as you’re fit. Good for us to walk around the area and down into Old Lisboa. The apartment was as pictured and described.

This apartment is in a great location, near Castelo de São Jorge in the Alfama district of Lisboa. It is within walking distance of just about everything in the area. It is a bit of an uphill hike to the property from the public parking garage, but that was to be expected. We knew that non-residents were not permitted to drive into the area. The property manager did send us keyless entry instructions. We had no problem getting into the building or the unit. Overall though, I’m giving this apartment only 2 stars. When we first entered the unit there was an essential oil diffuser in the living room that was a bit overwhelming. The unit appeared to be clean and neat, but there were areas that clearly had water damage, particularly in the bedroom. A portable dehumidifier had been placed in the bedroom to mitigate that. There was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom especially near the toilet and the bathroom sink is a rough cut piece of granite which in my opinion would be next to impossible to clean properly. The shower floor had damaged tiles and is in need of repair. A small filthy comforter was all that available for additional blankets in the bedroom and there was no mattress pad on the mattress.
