Location close to airport

The bathroom shower with water everywhere very slippery. Limited linens/towels no bath mat. Very firm mattress and sparse linens

l'appartamento è stato scelto per la vicinanza con aeroporto, ha soddisfatto questo requisito e il proprietario è stato molto gentile per averci permesso di lasciare nel garage sotterraneo dove ha un suo posto auto i nostri scatoloni di imballaggio biciclette che avevamo portato per il viaggio. la zona è di nuovo impianto per cui non ci sono molti negozi ma tutto quello che serve, due panetterie, bar per colazione e due piccoli supermercati con tutto il necessario per un breve soggiorno e alcune scelte per cena, il tutto a distanza di camminata.

Area and building were fine & safe. Easy acess, easy parking i guess. 10 minutes from airport. taxi was 100MAD (ca. 10€) from the airport, which the host told us up front (that was very helpful, bc the taxi drivers tried to charge more) so thank you for that, BUT:

Appartment was spontaneously changed into another appartment, because the original apparently had issues with electricity!? Same building, but different (bigger) appartment. it felt like somebody was living there, because there was a lot of opened and used stuff. It smelled really bad, wasnt clean, hair in the shower and on the floor, toilet & sink were dirty, kitchen and dishes were also dirty and there was food on counter. the nespresso coffeemaker was existing but no capsules & it also seemed dirty, so we didnt touch it. so we were kind of irritated by the whole experience. We came in very late and only stayed for one night, so we weren't able to change anything about it, so was a really disappointing start to our vacation. Would definitely have prefered the problems with electricity, if the other appartment would have been clean. Especially since the one we stayed in also had loose switches. i also took photos, which I dont want to post here, bc its a different appartment, but i really hope the next guests are luckier than us. Also: Bring your own bottled water! Edit: We talked to the host, he was very sorry and in the end we got our money back. So if you're having problems and it's not 11pm and you & your family are not exhausted, try to contact him and I'm sure he's gonna help you. Unfortunately it wasn't an option for us, and it still happened the way I described it, so all the points are for the host and location near the airport.
