The Burlington

The house and our apartment were great: beautiful, clean, all the essentials were in place. It was also really easy to get in and the room was ready for a check-in already at 1 pm. The building also has a common kitchen and a balcony, which were nice benefits.

The location is quite poor - even though it's very close to the bus and metro stations, but MacArthur Park itself is currently occupied mainly by homeless people, so it's not really a pleasant walk towards the station, especially in the evening.

la ubicacion si esta medio fea y peligrosa por la noche , pero si llegas temprano al depa no hay problema

周辺地域はあまり治安が良いとは言えなかった。

The room was a very good size; the shower pressure was excellent; bowls, plates & cutlery were available in the room; the security was good with codes required to enter from the street, through the front door and into the room and the cleaning lady was helpful.

Planes overhead, barking dogs, people talking on the street and noisy cars were all an issue but these were nothing when compared to the people above my room on the last night who thought it normal behaviour to scratch, scrape and stamp up until 5 the following morning (even though I had banged on their door asking them to quieten down). The mattress was only firm on one side of the bed and the only working appliance in the kitchen was the microwave. Not the nicest of neighbourhoods with grime, rubbish and unpleasant odours on the surrounding streets but at least the residents never behaved in a threatening manner.
