Lydia's Apartments

Appartamento meraviglioso, tutto nuovo, arredato con gusto, pulizia impeccabile. Posizione ottima, si arriva sul lungomare con una passeggiata di 10 minuti. Parcheggio privato sotto l’appartamento. Ogni 2-3 giorni (non ricordo) puliscono l’appartamento e cambiano la biancheria. Appartamento in una palazzina nuova con ascensore.

Niente tutto perfetto.

Our ferry from Kythira was arriving really late (11pm), but I let the host know and she arranged a taxi for us from the port (if you do the same, be warned though that it will cost around 15 euros!!!). Check-in was quick and easy via a key box. Apartment was spacious and clean - much bigger than we needed for just one night, but there wasn't much available within our budget when we booked. So this place is great value for money for what you get. It's not right in town, but still only 800 meres from the coast, and even less to shops, cafes and restaurants.

Very well equipped kitchen. Convenient location near the road, yet far enough to hear nothing of the cars passing at night.

Inadequate acoustic isolation between adjacent apartments. Neighbors came in late and we heard them talking across the wall of our bedroom.

This location was great for exploring Kissamos! Easy walking distance to the main area of town, and also easy parking so it's not a hassle if you want to drive a little bit further to get somewhere. It is also a few blocks off the main road so it was nice and quiet throughout the day. We loved that it had a huge "Lydias" sign, and signs on the streets, that made it very easy to find. The place was very comfortable and cute. I would definitely stay here again!

Elevator was not working when we arrived so we had to carry a lot of luggage up the stairs, but it was only one level and we are fit so this was not really a big issue for us.
