Great value, we needed somewhere inexpensive near Verdon Gorge to stay for a night and this was just what we needed. There was a nice service man who helped us book a taxi.

The building was a bit old and not exactly inside La Palud-sur-Verdon.

The location is amazing, the views from the window were stunning.

Old building that needs maintanence, including bathroom and comun areas, as a result the rooms were quite noisy. The beds and bedding were also old and in bad condition. The food at the restaurant was not good for the price and the cleaniless all around the building needs to be improved.

Wonderful Easter break!

The Auberge des Cretes is private yet close to La Palud Sur Verdon and other towns, offering access to great hikes, like the Sentier Blanc-Martel. Staff was very friendly, gave great recommendations and went out of their way in helping us move around the Verdon (we didn’t have a car) The room was big, it had a balcony to enjoy the warmth of the sunset. Breakfast was fulfilling and dinner delicious.

Wonderful location for the trails.

The hotel was fully closed one afternoon so we couldnt get in (was apparently a mistake). The kitchen closed at 8 one night, and we had to dine elsewhere. The beds are too soft or old. The bathroom is from another age but works fine

Poor quality for money

No more than a sleep-over spot if you are looking for a backpacker-type accommodation with private bathroom without the benefit of cheap prices. Close to the gorge, location ideal for hikes and gorge activities, in a quiet area, restaurant on the premises, private terrace, free parking on premises.

Horrible mattress!! Terribly uncomfortable! No way to make coffee in the room, only way to cool off the room is to sleep with the terrace doors open and motorcycles and cars speed by making it abit noisy. So many flies zooming around in the reception close to the kitchen door made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Great location for exploring Verdon Gorge

Great location! Although on the road, once you close the window the room is totally quiet. We had a nice balcony for a relaxing drink. The place is very simple, but nice staff and rooms were clean. There is a restaurant that we didn't try. Breakfast was very nice and generous.

Beds were too soft for us...we find it to be a common thing in France....

Das Hotel liegt gut für die Route des Crêtes du Verdon ist aber in die Jahre gekommen, vernachlässigt und nicht sauber. Der Mitarbeiter war wortkarg aber kooperativ und flexibel bei der Zimmerverteilung. Für 1e Nacht ist es gerade noch ok.
