It is a beautiful house with fantastic views, it just needs a bit of love and attention. The pool was sadly unusable for most of our stay due to the debris falling from over hanging trees and shrubs (mistral winds). I would definitely recommend it for adults but I would say it’s unsuitable for families with young children given the loose paving slabs around the pool and the open staircase above the spiral staircase going up to the mezzanine.

We had a very special time in Bedoin and enjoyed staying in the house. The living room is spacious with a great chimney and the view of the Mont Ventoux ist fantastic. The two Master-bedrooms are big enough and the matresses comfortable. It is a 2 Minutes walk to the next bakery and even shorter to nature around the church. The contact with the owner was uncomplicated and very nice.

Fabulous Property!

We found the property totally met with our expectations for our cycling holiday. There is a view from every bedroom window and the living area of Mt Ventoux. The pool is gorgeous with 2x huge sun umbrellas and sun loungers x4 and well equipped (bike) garage, including a bike stand and easy access with electric doors as you ride home. The property is fantastic. It is so convenient to town yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Well equipped and beautifully finished. Could not recommend it highly enough! Thank you to our host and daughter for their excellent communications. I would not hesitate to book again!

Its rare that a place is undersold, that the pictures don't do a place justice or its location is just a lot better than you expect. This is such a place. It's almost impossible to explain, or imagine or picture. This is a town house close to a rock face. The building has been adapted so that the top floor is on a level with the pool at the back, but it remains the floor with exceptional views over Mont Ventoux because it is at the top of the house. The top floor opens with sliding doors to create wonderful inside / outside space - perfectly suited to summer living. The rest of the house is cool and lovely. The house sits over the village of Bedoin. Close enough to wander for a coffee (or ice cream). We are a family of cyclists and we were there because of Mont Ventoux. Bedoin is the base of the main route up Ventoux. Thats perfect, but even without cycling, this place is exceptional.

Nous avons passé un délicieux séjour dans cette maison hyper confortable, fonctionnelle et spacieuse où rien ne manque. La construction originale permet de garder les chambres fraîches. Le bon goût de la déco et de l’architecture intérieure nous a permis de nous approprier les lieux. Tout peut se faire à pieds à Barjols. La piscine chauffée et le vaste garage sont bien évidemment un plus. Nous y reviendrons sans doute.

This home makes for the perfect experience in Provence!! It is even better than the pictures show. The views are breathtaking, the attention to detail is noticeable throughout the home. Large spacious rooms, high end finishes, and unique details (such as a window in to the swimming pool inside the house)! The home is also perfectly located to make for a very easy walk in to the town (less than 5 minutes walk) where you have full access to boulangeries, restaurants, cafes, groceries, a little shopping and the owner's wonderful ice cream shop. The owner is very responsive and helpful when it comes to any questions, suggestions or issues you may have. This house provided a quiet oasis for our family to enjoy Provence and Bedoin, while just being a very short walk away from the town. A perfect trip that we hope to repeat again someday! Thank you again!!

the house is located in the upper part of the village, with a magnificent view of Mont Vetoux. The center of the charming village of Bedoin in walking distance. There is room for two cars in the garage under the house! The house is equipped with two bathrooms! A wonderfull living room and kitchen, with sliding doors to the terrace. All in perfect condition. The terrace with private pool was our favorite, despite of the temperature of the water :). Bernhard told us that he will find a way to improve this for the next season. We will definitely return.

My fiancé and I loved staying in this home during our time in Bedoin. The garage was more than big enough for our car, wifi worked without any problems, had a stand up shower, pool with a cute deck area, laundry, cute kitchen and family room that was so cozy that we ended up staying in more times than we had planned. The view from the top floor is outstanding and displays a perfect view of Mont Ventoux. The house is one of the tallest in the town which allows the stunning views but also was the steepest part of our bike rides – great way to end the day! This place was so perfect for us we almost didn’t want to write a review in case it would be booked the next time we come to Bedoin.

We were met by the owner Bernard who was very helpful and as it turned out the owner of an incredible local ice cream shop which had to be tried several times! We were shown round the property which was even better in real life than the pictures suggest., The view of Mont Ventoux from the living room balcony windows was jaw dropping - I can't imagine there is any property in Provence with better views! The house was wonderfully positioned close to the lovely village. Everything was clean, modern and worked well with ample space for 5 burly blokes on a cycling holiday. Having a large garage able to store 2 cars and 5 bikes was also a massive bonus we hadn't expected. Over all I cannot recommend this property and Bernard highly enough.

Die Unterkunft war geräumig, gut geschnitten, ausgestattet und perfekt für Gruppen. Durch die Verteilung auf die 3 Etagen hatten alle genug Platz. Der offene Wohn- und Essbereich mit riesiger Fensterfront zum Pool und zur Terrasse waren optimal für gesellige Stunden am Abend. Die riesige Garage im Erdgeschoss ermöglichte das Abstellen von Rädern, Zubehör und 1-2 PKWs. Die Schlafzimmer waren ebenfalls gut aufgeteilt und eingerichtet. Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft, vor allem wenn man mit dem Fahrrad die tolle Umgebung wie den Mont Ventoux erkunden möchte.

Das Haus liegt wirklich traumhaft. Der Blick ist gigantisch und trotzdem kann man alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, so dass man sich gleich sehr wohl fühlt. Einziges Manko sind die losen Platten am Pool.

Nous avons passé un week-end très agréable dans cette maison sur les hauteurs de Bedoin. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible. La maison est vraiment parfaite avec des équipements de grande qualité. Le coin est magnifique et nous espérons revenir dès l'an prochain pour arpenter à nouveau les pentes du Ventoux !

Points + - Localisation idéale pour découvrir la région au pied du Mont Ventoux (cyclistes, randonneurs, tourisme en général); - La vue du gite est exceptionnelle côté Mont Ventoux; - Accès au centre du village à pied en 5 minutes; - La piscine est la bienvenue par de forte chaleur; - La mise à disposition d'une plancha est appréciée; - Le matériel à disposition est suffisant et complet; - Les livres à disposition sont appréciés; - Les chambres sont spacieuses; - L'espace dressing est réellement utile. Points - - Le dallage sur plots autour de la piscine et sur la terrasse n'est pas stabilisé (!), il y a risque de chute. [Ce n'est pas la présence d'une échelle dans la piscine qui va empêcher les risques liés à des enfants ou adultes qui s'amusent à plonger (idem commentaire de Frank M. de mai 2018)]; - La table extérieure est usée et tombe en morceaux (bois ayant souffert du soleil); - Présence de caméra sur la terrasse / piscine : bémol sur droit à l'image ou autre, caméras actives? Pas d'information sur ce sujet.... - Le lavabo de la salle d’eau est original mais pas pratique (pas de contenant d'eau) et salissant (idem commentaire de Hélène B d'avril 2018); - Le mitigeur de la douche italienne ne fonctionne pas (impossible de refroidir l'eau sans risquer de casser le système); - La distance sol à base des fenêtres des chambres ne respecte pas la norme (90cm mini !), risque de chute (pour fermer les imposants volets par exemple) et vigilance pour les enfants. Il manque une barre de protection à 90 cm! - L'automatisation de la porte du garage est défectueuse (surcharge à la fermeture obligeant de passer en fermeture manuelle); - Le garage ne peut finalement contenir qu'une voiture contrairement à la description. Aussi, je conseille vivement de souscrire au forfait de nettoyage car les produits mis à disposition ne permettent pas de nettoyer correctement les sols et nous y avons laissé le prix du forfait (90euros) malgré nos efforts. Dans le même esprit, je recommande un état des lieux d’entrée pointilleux avec photos au besoin car l'état des lieux de sortie s'est avéré beaucoup plus précis (!). En résumé, gite bien placé et agréable, dommage que quelques malfaçons et problèmes techniques avérés ne le rendent pas parfait et nous laisse sur une petite déception. La note globale est donc de 3 sur 5 pour un 2,5 ressenti.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié la belle maison très équipée et idéalement située. Tout y est présent pour passer des vacances inoubliables! Il faisait encore trop froid pour la piscine mais nous avons vraiment profité de la terrasse. Le propriétaire était très gentil et nous a accueilli chaleureusement. A recommander!

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Sehr Stilvoll kaum etwas auszusetzen. Kleine Wermutstropfen sind: 1. das in der Beschreibung zwar zwei getrennte Bäder beschrieben werden, die auch zur Verfügung stehen, aber nicht abzulesen war, dass es nur eine Toilette im Haus gibt. Könnte bei voller Belegung schwierig werden. 2. das einige Platten am Rand des Pools nicht richtig befestigt sind und auch frei herausfallen können, wenn man diese "falsch" Betritt. Empfanden wir als nicht ungefährlich. Die Lage des Hauses ist eigentlich perfekt und der Vermieter ist sehr nett!

Malgré une météo pas vraiment coopérative, nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette maison décorée avec goût et bien équipée. Sa situation au cœur du village est un atout. Nous nous sommes autant amusés qu’extasiés dans le dédale des rues et des escaliers pour gagner l’artère principale où sont situés tous les commerces. Bédoin est un village pittoresque et très vivant, dans une région riche de vins, de lavande et de belles pierres. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine, ni de la terrasse. Mais nous sommes rattrapés en découvrant un maximum de villages aux alentours et surtout, nous avons passé de bons moments dans la pièce principale de la maison. A lui seul, ce vaste espace baigné d’une lumière traversante et doté d’une vue imprenable sur le Mont Ventoux vaut le détour. Seul bémol : le lavabo de la salle d’eau est trop original pour être vraiment pratique.

De la première prise de contact pour la réservation jusqu'à notre départ en fin de séjour, les échanges avec Bernard ont été simples et rapides, ce qui est particulièrement agréable. La maison est en tous points conforme à la description précise qu'en fait Bernard dans son annonce. Nous avons même été agréablement surpris par les très belles prestations offertes, les photos ne reflétant pas toutes les qualités de la propriété. Nous y avons trouvé l'espace (plus que suffisant pour un couple et trois enfants) et le confort annoncés. Nous n’avons pas eu besoin de solliciter Bernard pendant notre séjour, tout ce dont nous avions besoin étant à notre disposition. Nous nous sommes sentis "comme à la maison". Offrant une vue imprenable sur l’imposant et magnifique Mont Ventoux, la maison est idéalement située, au calme sur les hauteurs du village tout en étant à quelques pas seulement de l'artère principale qui anime le village : boulangeries, bars, restaurants, presse, magasin alimentaire de proximité... et bien sûr le glacier de Bernard. Depuis la maison, il est facile de rayonner dans tout le Comtat Venaissin pour partir à la découverte de ses villages perchés dont certains parmi les « plus beaux villages de France » (Venasque, Séguret,…) ou de ses sites naturels (gorges de la Nesque, vallée du Toulourenc,…) ou culturels (Palais des Papes à Avignon, Théâtre Antique à Orange,…) remarquables. Et quel plaisir de plonger dans la piscine après une balade sous le soleil ! En résumé, une très jolie maison, embellie par une magnifique région. Allez-y sans hésiter.

Maison extrêmement confortable, calme, lumineuse : parfaite pour des vacances en famille! Equipements au top et une maison très agréable à vivre ; la vue sur le Mont Ventoux est à couper le souffle. Centre du village et ses commerces accessible en 2 minutes à pieds ; ne pas rater les délicieuses glaces vendues par le propriétaire ! Vraiment un séjour parfait!

Voici ce qui pourrait résumer cette maison de location.Vous aurez une superbe vue sur le Mont Ventoux,tout en étant en plein coeur du village accessible facilement par voiture, et dans le calme absolu,car niché sur les hauteurs du village.La maison est spacieuse,avec de belles chambres et un très grand salon,une belle piscine à la température idéale pour se rafraîchir.Tous les éléments de confort présents pour passer un très bon séjour,avec tous les linges fournis,rien à apporter ou à prévoir.Avec en plus un propriétaire toujours prêt à renseigner ou rendre service s'il le faillait.Et pour moi qui fait du vélo, le grand garage permet de rentrer la voiture,d'avoir l'espace pour préparer son vélo,et en plus de pouvoir partir directement sur la route afin de grimper le Mont Ventoux ,ou de sillonner les routes du Vaucluse.Je ne peux que recommander cette location dans laquelle je revendrais.
