The rooftop pool was a lovely oasis, especially after a full day of walking and site seeing.
The location did have some vagrants roaming the streets. Although we really appreciated having a staff person sitting at the door each night to greet us and open the door.

Great location. Spacious 2 bed apartment with two bathrooms. Great living area, well equipped kitchen and fabulous rooftop area. Communal rooftop pool. Great laundry facilities. Plenty of supplies like dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, loo roll & kitchen towel. Coffee, teabags. Lovely touches. Very clean. Big Rouses supermarket 5 min walk. Bearcat Cafe close by for breakfast. 20 min walk to French quarter. Close to Charles street tram stop and WWII museum. Staff always available and complimentary luggage storage.
Bed didn’t suit me. I’m a side sleeper and ended up with achy hips 🥴
Very strong smell of gas when using rooftop pool - apparently caused by gas pool heater - but is a little unpleasant.

888Baronne is in the warehouse district. Whilst the accommodation was excellent, i don't think I would stay there again. I would probably go to somewhere near my final departure place like the wharf. Nevertheless the accommodation was excellent, well appointed, clean, tidy and plenty of room.
Its a little bit away from the French quarter, the CBD, but ok if you are familiar with the public transport, which is very affordable at $1to $2 for a 24 hour ticket if you are a senior. The chill that came down from the Arctic didn't enahnce our stay but put a twist to it we didn't expect. It was so cold one night the roof top pool froze over. Not heard of for NOLA in February.

Great location and comfortable, quiet rooms. We slept great! There’s a nice little workout room with a Peloton. Pool looked awesome but it was too chilly to use the days we were there. Great coffee across the street. Grocery store is 2 blocks, lots of breakfast and lunch choices nearby. Parking was a breeze.
Not much to dislike. It was a neat building. There are no windows, but we knew that going into it.
