Freshwater Barn new update. in this is peaceful, picturesque and stylish self-catering holiday cottage in a traditional converted barn. Located on the outskirts of the pretty village of Benenden. Conveniently located close the the Wealden towns of Cranbrook, Tenterten and Tunbridge Wells. With endless walks, National Trust and English Heritage properties eg Sissinghurst, Scotney, Bodiam and Great Dixter to name a few. Alternatively London is 55mins by train or pop over the Channel to France for the day. The barn has been recently modernised and has a lovely new fully equipped fitted kitchen with butler sink and wood tops, so you can prepare locally grown produce from the many award winning farm shops and wineries in the Weald of Kent.

Lovely cottage in the garden of the owners. Nice place to stay and a good point to make interesting trips in the neigbourhoud.

The cottage was exactly what we needed and had hoped for. In a quiet rural location but near to the village. Very comfortable for three of us and the family who own and let the cottage are very friendly and helpful. It made an excellent base for exploring the historic sights and wonderful gardens in Kent and East Sussex. We stayed for a week and made day trips each day to a different location within an hours drive of the cottage. Wish we could have stayed longer!
