An unusual basement property with lots of space and all the facilities you need. Despite being "partially sunken" it's surprisingly light and airy due to the high windows. The house is at the end of a quiet cul de sac with a gate (but beware, the number on the house is wrong... Look for the name plate by the gate.) Parking is easy and the village is easily accessed from the SS125. The owner is utterly charming and can't do enough for you. Friendly Girasole village is quiet and attractive but with limited facilities - a handful of bars, a basic supermarket, pharmacy, butcher etc.. Just down the road, Tortoli has everything you need. Nearby L'Ulivo restaurant is pretty good. The local beach at Girasole is lovely, with a pine wood and safe swimming. The house is a perfect base for exploring Ogliastro. Really recommended!

"We had a wonderful welcome from the family who made us feel very much at home. The appartment was located in a quiet cul de sac with lovely surroundings. Car parking was no problem - always a space available next to the house. It was very clean, cool and spacious with ample facilities (lovely big fridge) The bathroom was beautifully tiled and the shower in the bath was very powerful - just the thing after a day at the beach! The garden was lovely with many colourful plants - we often took advantage of the patio to sit and have coffee, read and write postcards. The family are a delight and wonderful hosts. We
have some very happy memories of our stay and hope to return to Girasole in the near future. The appartment was just as pictured in the advert."
