About this house rental
Fully updated two bedroom home in Shawnee, KS. Close to I-435 on the west side of KC. Master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has two full size beds. One bath with double sinks and tub/shower combination. Full kitchen and dining area. The family room has two leather couches with a 50 in TV.
Conveniently located near restaurants, movie theater, major retailers and grocery stores. Just up the street is a sprawling park offering boating, fishing and swimming plus nature trails and an outdoor theater. Also nearby is the newly opened Lenexa Rec Center with an incredible gym and indoor swimming pool.

The house was in a beautiful neighborhood and close to many attractions and restaurants. It was clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and allowed us to check-in early. It was the perfect house for us.

The house was in a good location and had the potential to be fantastic. The beds were very comfortable and the recliners in the living room were comfortable as well. Unfortunately, the house was not clean. I let the owner know right away and she did offer a refund if we wanted to go somewhere else, but with the World Cup in town, that wasn't really an option for us. I cleaned the tub (with a very slow drain), coffee pot, the essential surfaces, made the bed properly and let the rest go. Based on the excellent reviews, I was surprised with the lack of cleanliness. Maybe it was just a bad time for the housekeeper? The owner didn't say why it was in the state it was, nor was she interested in seeing the pictures taken. If it had been clean, I would have given it 5 stars.
