About this house rental
. You will fall in love with this house !! The house, built in 2006, scrupulously respects the traditional architecture of the area, with stone and granite cladding and wooden beams on ceilings. With capacity for 9 people it has a careful garden of 2000 square meters and excellent views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Our house responds to the realization of a dream. It is not "one more house". As a child I was magnetically attracted to this landscape of pure nature, a symphony of blues, pinks and intense reds in the sunsets ... Backwater of peace where you can leave your mind blank and merge with the environment, disconnect from problems and share joys.
The hamlet of Golmar (Cedeira, La Coruña) is a magical and privileged place, preserved virgin, a unique environment that can not leave anyone indifferent, located on a valley about 200 meters above the sea. The house is in an area declared of natural interest in 2000 by the European Union: total calm, spectacular sunsets and stunning views of the ocean, being able to appreciate the profile of 80 km of coastline.
It is definitely a perfect scenario, a huge dynamic picture changing in tones, colors, nuances ... "our particular corner of paradise."
It is 4 km from the town of Cedeira, with shops, services, beach, port and excellent restaurants.
In a radius of less than 30 km you can access the most spectacular beaches in the region. Pantín Beach is only 12 minutes away by car (12 km.). The Ortegal lighthouse, with its impressive rocky spiers, the cliffs of the Garita de Herbeira (the highest in continental Europe), the sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido, the "Best bank in the world" must-see tours within walking distance of home .
Coruña and Santiago de Compostela are also easily accessible, you can come and go in the day.
Regarding the house, every detail is thought, cared for and pampered, what makes it different and unique, it is not a house designed for rent, "is OUR HOUSE. High ceilings with antique strass glass lamps, good paintings, antique furniture and especially lingerie and top quality bedding. The comforters are all good brands and have been chosen with care. The pocket spring and viscoelastic mattresses will allow you a perfect rest.
Equipped with everything you may need for an unforgettable vacation.
During the stay, the gardener or we will go to water and take care of the garden to keep it in perfect condition. Of course, it will never interfere with your rest or leisure.
THE CLEANING RATE OF 60 EUROS IS FOR EACH WEEK OF STAY

We had a wonderful stay in this house! A stay of 3 nights was unfortunately too short.
The house offers everything you need to have a relaxing and peaceful stay. It’s very well maintained and very comfortable. The views towards the Atlantic Ocean are breathtaking.
Restaurants and supermarkets are only at a 10-minute drive in Cedeira.
The owner Isabel is a very warm-hearted and jovial person who does everything to make your stay comfortable and provides useful tips for trips. Thank you, Isabel! You did an excellent job to make the garden this beautiful!
This place is worthwhile to visit one of the most beautiful coastline in North West Galicia. Highly recommended!

Isabel offers a beautiful home, very comfortable, many "spaces" with different look and feel, magnificent views, changing every day with the weather and time of day, convenient to town (about a 7 minute drive) and accessible to many sites of interest. We loved it there and recommend it highly. We like to cook and Isabel is so nice she actually ordered an oven and had it installed on our second day there -- now that is fine customer service. We used it to bake some of the local fresh fish, which we highly recommend. We also roasted meat and used it to warm the delicious breads we bought in town. The market in town has plenty of everything and the people who work there are very friendly and helpful, even to someone with poor Spanish-speaking skills like mine. We highly recommend this rental property. We are rental property owners ourselves and we have rented homes in Greece, Spain, France, and The Netherlands, as well as many US properties. This one ranks at the top!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here this July. The house and garden are just as they appear from the website, so, yes, the views really are that beautiful. We were welcomed by the owner, Isabel, a friendly and delightful person who made sure that all the practicalities were covered.
The attractive house is easy and comfortable to live in and dining on the terrace is an idyllic experience.
The local town is easily accessible and offers all amenities. We found the Eroski supermarket met our self-catering needs. If you don't want to cook, there are lots of little bars and restaurants. The old town is very nice and there is a lovely beach.
Further afield, we enjoyed visits to Santiago and La Coruna. More or less on the doorstep, we had trips to the sanctuary of San Andres, the (probably) highest cliffs in Europe and various bays and lighthouses. The coastal scenery is outstanding and if you are after stunning beaches you will be spoilt for choice.
Not entirely happy to be back in a grey and damp England!
