About this house rental
Recreation bungalow de Duif stands on 550 m2 of private land and lies in the woods between Loenen and Beekbergen. The area of the Veluwezoom and the wide IJssel area are within walking distance and the Hoge Veluwe within cycling distance. Historic cities of Apeldoorn, Arnhem, Zuthpen and Deventer are within a radius of 25 kilometers.
Around the house is a beautifully landscaped garden. More than 200 perennials, shrubs and trees, of which 80 rhododendrons. From the living room you look out at a piece of (your) forest with squirrels, rabbits, thrushes, woodpeckers, treetops and tree crawlers, check marks, titmouse etc.
The house is in the Beekbergen forest park. Make (free) use of the park's indoor swimming pool. Go play tennis or cycle. Or good food and drinks in the Jachthuis restaurant. Also visit the wellness center. Activities for children during the school holidays.
Enjoy the complete interior, the beautiful floor tiles, the paintings, the beautiful wooden staircase and the void of this beautifully designed house.
In the summer you can relax on a rug in the grass or on a lazy chair on one of the two terraces. Because of the vegetation there is a lot of privacy.
And if it is a bit colder, then heat the (high efficiency) built-in fire. Bring wood or buy at the park.
The property appears to be in demand. An occupancy rate of 65% was achieved in 2014.

We had a special holiday with my family of 7 people.
This accomodation fitted our purpose beautifully. The accomodation was just perfect and in a great park.

The house and property were very clean and well kept. Bedding and linens were basic with no frills. Beds were not the most comfortable but adequate. Luckily the owner had sent me an information sheet prior to our check in regarding the operation of various appliances as well as information about the park itself. Questions posed to the reception or check in were not clearly answered. We happened to be staying at the house during the hottest days of the summer of 2019. We had somehow misinterpreted the ad and thought the house was air conditioned, however the ventilation system was quite different than air conditioners in the United States. Luckily we weren’t at the house much during the daylight hours. The location is convenient, close to markets and restaurants.
