Lourmarin, Provencal Bastide of 240 m2, private swimming pool, breathtaking view of the Luberon

Enchanting site, calm and ideal to relax.

Welcome home !

Located a few hundred meters from the center of the village of Lourmarin, your Provencal Bastide awaits you in a quiet area of one hectare planted with olive trees, peach trees, oaks, vines and lavender, ideal to relax at the pace of the south.

Outside, you will enjoy a large heated pool and panoramic views of the Luberon mountain, the green valley and below the village and castle of Lourmarin. Three comfortable terraces, barbecue and petanque are at your disposal to enjoy the sweetness of Provence.

Inside, the Bastide decorated with care, can receive up to eight people. She is composed :
- A very well equipped kitchen (Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven, microwave, dishwasher, hotplates, American fridge)
- Laundry room with washing machine and dryer, ironing equipment
- Large living room of 50 m2 with two comfortable sofas and armchairs, fireplace, satellite TV, stereo
- Two bedrooms with double bed (King bed and Queen bed), offering pool and countryside views
- Two bedrooms with single beds X 2, overlooking the castle of Lourmarin

- Three bathrooms (3 Italian showers, a bath, a toilet), a separate toilet
- Reversible air conditioning and wifi are also available throughout the country house. 3 bedrooms have air conditioning. The 4th bedroom has fans available.
- Hotel quality cleaning is done before your arrival and at your departure.
- So that your comfort is complete, we provide sheets and towels.

The place is perfect to relax, enjoy the sweetness of the Luberon and the village of Lourmarin with its shops, restaurants and castle, and hilltop villages of Gordes, Roussillon ....

N.B. The property is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
N.B. The swimming pool is open from May 1st to October 31th. It is possible to heat the swimming pool for an additional cost (250€/week - 125€/week in July and August).

Weve been going to Lourmarin every Summer for 10 years and this is one of the best villas we have rented. The location is perfect, only a few minutes drive (or a 20 minute walk) into the village. The villa was very well equipped with lots of outside dining & seating areas. The petanqe court which was lit up at night time was also a bonus.Just a few things to be aware of;The 4th bedroom on the ground floor next to the kitchen does not have a/c but does have a fan.There only 4 sun loungers by the pool so we had to buy 2 more.The bbq is charcoal and very difficult to cook on so we bought one from SuperU.In summary I would recommend the villa, it has a lot of traditional provencal charm and it is very close to the most beautiful village in the Luberon. Thank you Jean for letting us stay at your home!

We adored this place! First the location is absolutely perfect. It has the most stunning views, it is incredibly private and peaceful, yet just a short walk into the wonderful town of Lourmarin. Nature at its finest. Second, the house itself is fabulous. There are numerous outdoor spaces to gather, relax and eat. Whether looking for sun or shade there is always the perfect spot. Mornings in the sun room were perfect. It has three modern baths and good kitchen. Great communication and help from the very pleasant house manager, Teny. This house will not disappoint….in my opinion better than its pictures. And to repeat, the stunning view of the valley from the poolside is magical. I will miss it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa, so much so that we have booked for next year! Great location, quiet and peaceful with beautiful views over the vineyards and mountains yet a 15 minute walk into Lourmarim. The house has been renovated and has lovely modern features while retaining its rustic charm of Provence. The surrounding land was filled with beautiful orchards, fields of flowers and vineyards. It’s a picture postcard place to stay! The host was extremely responsive to any question and most helpful! The only potential issue for anyone renting this house is the person who showed us around, while very kind, did not speak English. We look forward to staying here again since we had a delightful time.

The house, pool and location are all nice, but based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend this rental for the following reasons: 1. The driveway is poorly kept, the brush is rough and scratches the sides of your car, it’s at least 100m long, scratching most of the way and does leave a permanent mark on your car’s paint 2. There is no air conditioning in the ground floor bedroom which makes sleeping there in the warm summer nights very uncomfortable 3. The dishes are chipped and there aren’t enough bowls for 8 people making breakfast or pasta meals inconvenient 4. The halogen lights in the back terrace are a fire hazard, we left them on for 20 minutes one evening and the dried pines around them started to smoke, they could easily have lit and started a forest fire if we weren’t paying attention 5. When leaving, we made a tour of the house with the caretaker and got the OK that all was good, the house was in order and we could leave. Almost a week later we were sent a short message from the owner that we would be charged an extra 125€ for leaving the house excessively messy. After exchanging with the owner, he shared a brief and rather insulting message from his cleaning staff about the state of the house as we left it but he was unable to share photos. I found this extremely questionable considering the price we paid for this rental and the fact that we did the ‘etat des lieux’ with the caregiver and nothing was signaled as out of the ordinary. Overall, the house, pool and location is nice, but considering the price, the points above, and the final interactions with the owner, I wouldn’t recommend this rental.

Beautiful house with stunning views! The photos almost do not do it justice as they cannot fully capture the wonders of the location and views. House was very comfortable with spacious bedrooms, living rooms and fully equipped kitchen. Easy stroll to Lourmarin with its lovely cafes and restaurants, and close to so many vineyards, beautiful small villages, and famous historical sights. And the cherry on the cake were the visits from the most charming local cat. Would come back again!

Superbe séjour à Lourmarin dans la maison Les Aurélies. La maison est magnifique, bien meublée et très bien agencée, notamment la cuisine. La maison est très chaleureuse et les parties extérieures sont très soignées. La maison dispose de plusieurs zones de terrasses extérieures pour profiter des différents moments de la journée. Elle est très bien orientée. La piscine est plutôt plus grande que la moyenne. La maison est située dans une zone très calme. Elle se situe idéalement à 15 minutes à pied de Lourmarin. Les photos sont tout à fait fidèles à ce que vous trouverez sur place, absolument aucune mauvaise surprise. Monsieur René Faure qui s'occupe de l'accueil des vacanciers ainsi que de la maison est très gentil et facilite grandement la prise en main de la maison. A recommander sans aucune réserve!

Nous avons passés quinze jours extra dans cette villa tout confort , extrêmement bien équipée . L’air conditionné dans les chambres et au salon étaient le bien venu durant cet été particulièrement chaud. La vue est magnifique !! Plusieurs emplacements extérieurs pour repas et apéro sont prévus . Les propriétaires et René (l’homme de main:) sont supers sympas! Bref , ça vaut largement les 5 étoiles . Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
