This apartment is part of a typical French Chalet, with a big garden (for playing with the sledge) and great mountain views. The location is very close to the biggest ski area of Europe (Portes du Soleil), it's only five minutes to the slopes or Abondance or 20 minutes to be middle in Chatel.
It is ook close to the ski area or Bernex (a typical French ski resort), All which is in the direction of the Geneva lake with great views over the lake.

Our family had a great stay. The hosts were attentive to us and gave us valuable and accurate recommendations. We had new things at home to use for the first time, and we had no problems of any kind, basically. The house is comfortable and very clean. We also loved the area because it allowed us to visit (by car) many points of interest but it's also a very quiet small village, so we were able to disconnect and regain strength to do our routes. We were very happy with our stay... :) To repeat...

D'abord ce n'est pas un "grand" appartement comme indiqué dans l'annonce. Les chambres et le salon sont exigus. Ensuite les photos sont trompeuses, laissant croire que le logement se situe au premier étage avec grandes fenêtres et balcon, alors qu'il se trouve au rez de chaussée, où la vue sur les montagnes, encore une fois vantée dans l'annonce, est occultée par la haie de thuyas. Autres points négatifs: - les matelas des deux lits simples placés côte à côte sont affreusement mous et doivent être changés. - le sol du parking, en pente, est mal stabilisé si bien que les pneus de ma voiture patinaient lorsque je la garais. Cerise, si l'on peut dire, sur le gâteau: le propriétaire n'était présent ni au début ni à la fin du séjour mais s'est permis de nous soupçonner par la suite d'avoir commis des dégradations (chaise de jardin soit disant cassée et encadrement de porte déjà abîmé à notre arrivée). Il n'y a heureusement pas eu de suite, mais le procédé est franchement désagréable. En conclusion, il y a bien d'autres chalets à Vacheresse !

De woning is klein, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. De woning is schoon en voor ons ideaal gelegen. Vanuit Vacheresse is het mogelijk om het gehele (ski) gebied te verkennen. Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Super séjour

Un séjour d'une semaine très agréable. Merci à Leon et Juliette qui sont des propriétaires chaleureux et disponibles et qui nous ont réservés un accueil charmant. Le chalet typique est fidèle aux photos avec tout le confort nécessaire. Situé à quelques minutes de la station familiale d'Abondance. Un gros + : le garage pour les skis et luges en fin de journée. Parfait pour une petite famille qui souhaite découvrir les alentours. A recommander, nous reviendrons avec plaisir et n'hésiterons pas à en parler à notre entourage.
