Saltwater Newquay

The place was very comfortable, with properly provided beds, sofas, and kitchen appliances. It was clean and cozy, and while it was close to the beaches, it was a bit far from the train station since I didn’t come by car. Getting back was a little difficult as I couldn't find a taxi.

The kitchen lights weren't working, which made cooking at night difficult. The picture showed a balcony, so I was expecting one, but I ended up in a ground-floor apartment. However, it was okay since the weather was a bit chilly.

We loved how cozy and homey our stay was, 10/10 for the comfort level. It was such a beautiful place with a comfortable bed and sofa. We loved how close we were to the beach, lots of walking and exploring was done. We also liked the amenities like large towels, a large fan, hairdryer, dish washer and washing machine. Loved the kitchen facilities, especially the high quality utensils and pans. Everything was easy to use and we also had washing tablets which were a bonus as they can be expensive. We also liked the outdoor area with the small gate. This felt secure and we felt comfortable having the door open when we were sat in the living room. Also, communication with the property owner was great and I received information before and during my stay. We went as a couple but I think it would also be good for a pair with a small child or baby. There is lots of space for a cot and highchair. Overall beautiful apartment, we had such an amazing holiday so thankyou very much for your hospitality!

Biggest issue for us was the location unfortunately. It was perfect in that it was a walk away from the beach (we are a couple who don’t drive) so we were able to explore, however its a 25+ minutes walk to the nearest shop (at least thats what google maps said). Also, I think the apartment could be more accommodating by having bin bags. We were happy to change the bins but we had to purchase bin bags. It would also have been nice to maybe have a small bottle of cooking oil. There was sugar and teabags left over but we needed to buy a large bottle of oil to cook with which we couldn’t take back with us. As stated above, we loved the patio area but it would have been nice to maybe have a small chair set so we could sit outside. Other than those points we had an amazing time at Saltwater!

The property was absolutely gorgeous and very very clean!

There was only 1 roll of toilet roll for our 3 night stay, there was no shower gel, the shampoo, the conditioner and dish soap was empty. I sent a message on booking.com but had no response back 🙁

Comfy bed and spacious place. Good location where we wanted to go with no more than an hours travel to the sites.

The floor was dirty, crumbs and dirt throughout. Very dusty, could see the cob webs and dust in plants, in frames and the floor. The light dimmer switch was broken so difficult to turn on and off, and the shower was leaking water somewhere by the glass panel as there was water all over the floor.
