About this lodge
Escape to the ULTIMATE PRESERVE to enjoy the seclusion of this 460 acre fenced in preserve. Enjoy being one with nature while still being close to everything FUN to do in Northern Michigan. You will be only 13 miles from the most unbelievable golf courses located in Gaylord MI.. While inside our preserve enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, looking for antlers, searching for Morel mushrooms or walking around and observing the hundreds of Whitetail Deer and other wildlife. The groomed state trail for snowmobiles, Atvs and side by sides is right outside the gate. Snow ski in Gaylord or go to Beautiful Boyne Mountain.

The lodge is 2600 square feet and has a very open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The bedrooms all have 2 sets of bunkbeds, (full over queen) along with there own bathroom. All 3 bedrooms also have a pull-out futon. If everyone is sleeping single there are 14 spots, if there are 2 people on each queen bed there are 20 spots. The bedrooms are on each end of the lodge while the main part is wide open with a full kitchen, large bar top (seats at least 4), fireplace, 2 flat screen tv's, large dining table (seats at least 16), pool table, and a large sectional sofa. There is also a mud room with a washer and dryer at one end of the lodge for all your outside gear. Just outside the French doors there is a Weber gas & charcoal grill for your cooking enjoyment along with a propane smoker . Enjoy making smores while sitting around the fire pit & fire wood located beside the pond. This is truly a beautiful preserve for nature lovers to enjoy. From the moment we walked into the lodge and had deer just outside our windows and sipping water from the ponds, everyone just couldn’t stop talking about how much better this place was than all of our previous up north golf trilps, even though it was a little further away from the courses than we’ve stayed in the past. This is going to be our go-to place every year from now on if it’s available.
