Pineapple house Manzanillo

Great location, in front of Caribbean shoreline (but beach was absent due to stormy weather), separated only by a relatively unbusy road. Away from touristy hub bub of nearby villages of Uva and Cocles. Many trails nearby (but were very muddy during our 4 day stay, and largely impassable due to rainfall ) extend into jungle zone essentially at rear of property. Large and very pleasant dining room and living room. Hot water always available. Large open porch with a couple reclining lounge chairs (and hammocks) provided a lovely sitting area in front of lush front yard, essentially overlooking ocean. Very nice to listen to surf crashing onto shoreline.

Kitchen was adequately outfitted with plates, cups, glasses and utensils, and had great many fry pans, but no cooking pots except for a very large one (6-8 litre) suitable for boiling water (drinking tap water not recommended). While there was a washing machine and dryer, no detergent was provided. A small amount even for 1 load would have been greatly appreciated. King size bed was extremely firm. Next door neighbour often had Spanish music blaring for a couple hours each daytime.

La ubicación es muy buena, está frente a la playa, la instalación es cómoda, limpia, cuenta con espacio para parqueo y la cocina está bien equipada. En general todo estuvo muy bien.

We really enjoyed the location in a small town.

We couldn’t get in right away. Some of the floor boards are ready to break through. They need to be repaired as it’s hazardous.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Es handelt sich um ein schönes geräumiges Haus. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und der Garten groß. Der Strand ist direkt an der Unterkunft.
