House three bedrooms, heated pool, beach and shops on foot

Property as per listing, all equipment needed was provided. Aircon is a great feature and efficiently controls the temperature of the downstairs. Beach and restaurants walkable, just not to our taste which wasn't Alain's fault. Alain is always available to assist if needed and is a 5 star host.

Superb house, walk to beach and shops/ restaurants in 5mins. Train station with very regular trains to Arcachon and Bordeaux just behind the house- perfect! The house is in perfect order, clean and well presented, with a lovely small heated pool, boules piste, and beach/ pool toys supplied. Dune du Pylat 20 mins drive, Arcachon centre 8 mins by train, amazing oyster restaurants on the quayside 5 mins walk around the corner. I can’t fault this house for myself and two kids- I travel a lot, and don’t leave good reviews undeservedly. The train line is behind the house, but it’s not running at night, is not intrusive, and it’s the same train that makes it so convenient. It’s nice to use the train after a long drive! The village of La Hume has baker, butcher, mini supermarket, fruit and veg shop, cafes, bars and restaurants, just around the corner. I recommend Alain, and this well presented property, without hesitation.
