About this house rental
Capri Manor is a perfect family holiday destination. It has an amazing location being only 2-3 minutes walk from the stunning Gibbs beach and is close to historic Speightstown on the West Coast of Barbados.
In Summer 2019 we did some exciting renovations and we now have a new kitchen and new 4th bedroom with en-suite.
The house is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with a large family-size swimming pool and a jacuzzi. There is a lovely sun terrace around the pool with loungers. The house sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms, all of which are air-conditioned and en-suite: three of the bedrooms are doubles and there is one twin room (and one of the doubles can be separated into a second twin room). There is a lovely feeling of space downstairs with the large hallway and living area, all opening out onto a spacious covered outside seating area and dining area. Inside there is a second sitting room with a TV and a well equipped and brand new kitchen.
A maid service is provided as are towels and linens. A cook is provided for two consecutive meals (breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner) for 6 days a week (excluding Barbados Bank Holidays).
The house is across the road from the wonderful Gibbs beach and is located just off the coast road, which you may be able to hear.
If you are planning an event in Barbados like your wedding or a birthday party, then do contact us for venue rates as Capri Manor is the perfect place for a party with its spacious inside and large garden.
The closest beach is Gibbs bay, a 2 minute walk from the house. Considered one of the best beaches on the island it is perfect for swimming with its calm, clear water, or sitting and watching the beautiful sunsets.
Next door is Mullins beach, a 10 minute walk from the house. There you can rent loungers and umbrellas and there are numerous watersports. There is a fantastic new beach bar called 'Sea Shed' which is great for lunch or supper or a Rum Punch! On a Sunday evening their kitchen is open from 4-7pm for pizza followed by a music night.
Speightstown, 3.5km away, is a vibrant town with a good selection of restaurants, local banks and Jordan's Supermarket.
Holetown, 5.6km away, has the Limegrove Shopping Centre where you can find numerous designer shops. The Chattel Village shops sell local art, craft and fashion. It also has excellent restaurants and a Massey Supermarket.
The airport is 32km away and a taxi can be arranged or car hire, which can be collected from the airport or delivered to the house.
There are a number of Golf courses nearby (Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane and Apes Hill).

We had a fantastic 10 nights at Capri Manor - two families had loads of space and everything we needed, looked after by Kay and Michelle. Very close to the stunning Gibbs beach and close to lots of good restaurants and bars. We'll be back!

We had the most incredible stay in Barbados! The house was absolutely beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and perfectly located for a relaxing island vacation.What truly made our trip unforgettable was the amazing staff. Kay, our cook, went above and beyond every single day. Her meals were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with love. She took care of all our food and drink needs and even went the extra mile to make sure our kids were happy, full, and cared for. She truly felt like family by the end of our stay.Michelle, the housekeeper, was equally amazing. She kept the home spotless throughout our visit and even helped us with our laundry, which made everything so much easier. Her quiet presence and attention to detail made a big difference in keeping our trip stress-free.This place was a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Barbados—we will absolutely be back!

We were 6 adults and a toddler. The property is beautiful, well-appointed and well cared for. Chef Kay and housekeeper Michelle were warm, helpful and did their jobs well. Concierge arrangements and owners were highly responsive. The gardens and pool area are like a movie set. You are 2 minutes from the beach and all kinds if restaurants nearby. Grocery and shopping 10 minutes south offers everything. This is a home that feels like a home and not a rental. Decor is styling and modern. Beds comfortably firm. Kitchen has everything overall 5 star

Five friends visiting for a coworker’s wedding. The property was as described, very comfortable, clean and close to the beaches. Mullins is a 10-minute walk and Gibbes beach is a 5-minute walk, almost across the street. We were able to get to most places by a 10 or 20 minute taxi when we didn’t walk. The household staff was lovely. Overall, we had an easy and enjoyable stay and look forward to returning.
