Super clean and bright and good location

Claudio was a very kind and hospitable host, giving us ideas of what to do during our stay and information about how to go down to Ragusa Ibla and back. We had a room high up which was large and equipped with everything needed for a short stay - storage, basic toiletries, hairdryer with diffuser, small coffee table and chairs. The bathroom was very clean. The room has blackout blinds which are brilliant.

This did not distract from our overall enjoyment of the place, but it should be noted that the accommodation is opposite a church and the bells ring from approx 7:30am to 10:30pm.

Fijn bed, goede locatie. De host was erg vriendelijk en reageerde snel. Er lagen allerlei extra’s op de kamer zoals goede koffie, cakejes, toast, jam. Heerlijk zitten met balkon. Top verblijf.

Plenty of restaurants nearby

It was my worst experiences with host ever. We had a long driving after check-out so I went to a nearby bakery to get coffee. Unfortunately it was Sunday so I had to go further thus we checked out 15 minutes later (I texted the host in advance). I grabbed the coffee to the third floor and dripped some on the stairs without noticing it until we checked out. The host arrived just at the time we left and was furious that we checked out later and I had spilled little bit of coffee (which takes 1 minute to clean). I felt really sorry and would love to help clean but he treated me very aggressively and shouted “CLEAN” at me. I started mopping the floor with my boyfriend sent to the ground floor by him very impolitely. He said next guests are coming at 12, but we couldn’t check in before 15 two days ago. I admit it was part of my mistakes but his reactions were highly unprofessional and totally lost control. I was apologizing the whole time but his attitude was still crazy. Guess what, it took me 1 minute to clean everything. He acted like it was the end of the world and I ruined the stairs. I still can’t believe I was treated like this, mopping the floor and shouted at as a guest. My boyfriend and I were still in shock even hours later. It ruined my day and was my worst day during the trip in Sicily.
