About this villa rental
The property is located in Porto Badisco, an old fisher's village where you can eat incredibly fresh sea urchins; Otranto, beautiful small town full of attractions, is 10 km away and Santa Cesarea Terme, famous for the thermal waters, is only 6 km away.
The 50 mq apartment is near to the main villa but it is completely independent, with the entrance from the garden and reserved parking space.
It has one bedroom with a double bed, a wardrobe room, a bathroom, a living area with two single sofa beds and a small but fully equipped kitchen.
The garden has private areas for the owners and for the guests; the guests can use the solarium, the gazebo and the barbecue areas; the pool is shared with the owners.
From the property there is a direct access to the blue and clear sea; the coastline is characterized by rocky cliffs, with some "calette" that make easy to go into the water.
This is the right place for people who love uncontaminated nature and peace, but also shopping and night life at few kilometers away.

Our stay at Caterina home was truly unforgettable. We were a group of four, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The pool was absolutely stunning — designed with such architectural taste that it became the highlight of our days, blending perfectly with the surroundings. The view was nothing short of a dream, offering a serene and breathtaking backdrop throughout our stay. Every detail of the place made us feel comfortable and cared for, creating an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

ProsBeautiful location, with fantastic views, mature, large and interesting garden, very private, not overlooked. Pool was great, very deep in places. The outdoor dining area was lovely and well thought out with a grill plate (not a bar b q) for cooking. Lots of places for sun bathing, and quiet shady areas. Great outdoor shower, solar heated with just enough heat for one warm shower. The water heats up again quickly. Inside it is comfortable, minimalistic, and adequate, with bathroom (shower only) and small kitchen. Porto Badisco is approximately a 10 minute walk away but along a winding road with no pavement. There are three average restaurants and an excellent bar. The main house is the owner's holiday home, with our accommodation as an annex and the garden is shared with them. During our 13 night stay the owners visited 3 times and were very discreet, but very helpful and friendly, and provided lots of information. Great location for exploring PugliaCons:-The pool attracts many flies (dead ones) and needs cleaning (with net provided) often - quite enjoyed it!. The road running past the villa appears to be some sort of unofficial racetrack for motor cyclists - can appreciate the attraction as it is a winding hill with great views, and they go to the top and back again, repeatedly! - takes several minutes. It be very noisy though, particularly at week ends. There is even a line on the road with 'START' written - in English. No wi-fi.Will definitely visit again.

We loved our stay. Caterina and her husband are lovely. They have very good advices about where you must go, visit and eat. It was a pleasure to come here for our first stay in South italy
