Beautiful recent house built in the Provencal style by an architect on closed and secluded grounds (please look at our WEB site or our picture collection on http://www.monalbum.fr/Album=4RNX8GH6). It stands in one of the most charming part of the Regional Park of Luberon, close to the Durance River. It is equipped with a 10 x 4 meters swimming pool secured with an electric cover on a 2800 squared meter plot of land (1200 m² of close area).
It is really charming and picturesque, with antiques inside, a carefully selected decoration, a piano, a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern electric appliances. Two terraces : one north protected from the sun, one south for cozy breakfast moments. Ideal for relaxed quiet family holidays in the sun and country air. Well educated cats and dogs are most welcome.

If you have ever dreamed of owning a lovely rambling house in the Luberon then this is for you. Yes, the pool is great, especially for hot sunny afternoons, but it is the feeling that you are staying in a home rather than a rented property that makes it so relaxing. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped for communal prep and there is a choice of al fresco dining options. We loved it!

This was a lovely house in the counrtyside of the Provence. The owners have made us feel really welcome and provided good tips about the area, a good bakery and where to buy good wine. In short: highly recommended.

What a lovely property. From the time we entered, we felt the calm that permeates through the house. The location was just what we wanted: it was remote, but with a rental car, was the perfect home base for visiting many areas of the Luberon region. Suggestions that were made by Pierre was just perfect, from Hauts Les Pain to road trips that enthralled. Silly things, that many would probably not think about, like hot water, and water pressure, made the stay that much more enjoyable. While at the property, we opened the doors and let the sunshine and fresh air swirl the home. We are cooks, so having the kitchen was a plus. Definitely recommend. My only awww, I wishes were. I wish there were better towels supplied. It would have been great to have some beach towels and more than one set for a two week stay. We had to ask for another set for each of us. Also, and this was worked out, but we felt a bit vulnerable when the neighbor visited unannounced.Other than that, just absolutely magical. And I know those two items are absolutely trivial to the overall excellence, but two little things that I thought to mention if it will make for a 5+++ experience for the next people. I'd go back in a heartbeat if possible. Just a lovely, lovely place, a lovely lovely host... Pierre went out of his way to answer our questions, be available to all our questions and concerns, and we felt that he truly wanted us to have the very best stay. And in that, he absolutely succeeded. Thank you Pierre!

This property is just lovely, very spacious with two outdoor patios. It was the perfect accommodation for our family of 6 adults and an infant. All was clean and as promised. The owner, Pierre, was very communicative and helpful. We would love to stay here again one day!

I have stayed in many houses in Provence but never has one been more welcoming and beautiful than this one. The pool is gorgeous as are the outdoor spaces, and the house is charming and very comfortable. Pierre, the owner, was incredibly attentive and helpful, and we followed many of his suggestions to make exceptional discoveries. This is just a lovely place nestled in the hills where you can get away from it all, yet you are only 45 minutes from Marseille airport and within 30 minutes from some of the loveliest towns and markets in Provence. Just gorgeous.

Fantastic characterful property ideal for a family stay

Lovely house. Very comfortable and well laid out. Great pool, with a temperature of 31 degrees during our July stay. House has all modern conveniences. Wi-fi worked well, so the children were happy! Lots of books to read. Owner was wonderfully communicative with detailed instructions for arrival, lots of ideas on what to do and where to go, tailored to our needs. The house is in a hamlet about 2km from the large village of Merindol, which is where we went every morning for bread and provisions - 5 minute drive, or a nice cycle on back roads. 3 bikes provided. Neighbouring properties are close by, but not overlooking and the house is completely private.

I loved this house. Really pretty, with masses of charm, and a great garden and pool. Infortinately due to an unusually cool and wet May, I didn’t get to make the most of the gorgeous garden. The house more than compensated. Fabulously clean, wonderfully equipped, in a terrific area. Lovely walks straight from the house, and the surrounding Luberon villages are totally charming. The owner, Pierre, is one of the best things about this rental. We didn’t meet in person, but he helped me so much in dozens of fabulous emails, with walks, local information and genuinely charming and caring friendliness. His English is perfect! The local man who looks after the house, Christophe, was great. He very helpfully rang me when I left passport, documents and money behind, and looked after them till I could return. Thank you so much Pierre, and Virginie, for the stay in your gorgeous house.

Sometimes you're lucky enough to find a hidden gem and this is one of them. The home (which is spacious and has everything you may need) is beautifully decorated with an individual feel, the items of furniture and even the musical instruments on display have been carefully chosen by the owner to complement the house and give it a very French, elegant feel. Sitting on the patio as the sun goes down, with a glass or two of Cote du Luberon, as French Jazz drifts from the super sound system, was one of the highlights of our holiday. Merindol is within walking distance, a friendly village with a vibe of its own, with cafes and restaurants which are popular with the locals. The house is just a short step to the GR hiking network and we enjoyed miles of good walks with our dogs. The owner is very friendly and helpful and is clearly genuinely concerned to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. If you crave peace and tranquility, comfort and ambience – and especially if you love walking or cycling - you will have a wonderful time. We will definitely return soon.

A perfect house for a relaxing holiday with kids. Spacious and very well-equipped house with a large pool and garden. The house has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the owner and the local neighbours attending to the house during our stay were very helpful providing information. In combination with the beautiful surroundings it was the ideal location for our holidays.

Very nice house, clean and fully equipped with everything needed. The spirit of Provence is all over the house. It is placed in a beautiful, green surrounding, in the heart of Luberon. Close to many charming small and authentic towns, but also only 50 minutes from Marseille and its airport. The owner provided us detailed information about the house, how to get there, the region, the places that we might want to visit. We received very kind and warm welcome from the house manager. It was really very nice and relaxing vacation. We definitely want to return again.

Wir haben uns mit den Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Der Kontakt war sehr angenehm und es gab viele gute Tips. Es war (was zu erwarten war) sehr heiß, und so haben wir die frühen Morgenstunden genutzt um einige schöne Spaziergänge direkt vom Haus aus zu machen. Wir haben die eine Hälfte des Tages genutzt um am Pool zu entspannen-besonders die Kinder-und in der zweiten Tageshälfte haben wir Ausflüge in die umliegenden Dörfer gemacht… Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet! Es fanden sich tolle Bücher und das Klavier wurde auch genutzt:) Nach dem Essen auf der Terasse haben die Kinder süße Trauben aus der Pergola gepflückt und wir mussten versprechen, daß wir wiederkommen! Das werden wir gerne tun!

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans très joli mas provençal à la fois plein de charme et facile à vivre. La très belle piscine était à parfaite température. Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueilli par Christophe qui nous a fourni quelques informations précieuses qui venaient compléter les nombreuses suggestions de ballades et adresses utiles et intéressantes fournies par Pierre le propriétaire des lieux. Toutefois un petit bémol; la proximité de la route relativement passante qui vient quelque peu contrarier la quiétude de ce bel endroit.

Cette propriété est magnifique ! La maison est située au calme sur un joli terrain du sud Luberon et qui surplombe la vallée de la Durance. Chaque soirée est un spectacle avec les couleurs du soleil couchant qui embrasent le ciel pour une heure de féérie. La maison est spacieuse, chaleureuse, dans une architecture à la fois moderne et ancienne, décorée avec charme et soin, et incroyablement équipée. Pour décompresser, c'est là ! Une heure de lecture assis dans la fenêtre, face aux couleurs du soir donne envie de tout lâcher et de ne plus jamais partir. La propriété est à proximité de toutes les commodités, plusieurs supermarchés à quelques kilomètres et les conseils du propriétaire pour profiter de tout ce que le coin offre de mieux sont précieux (mention spéciale pour le pain aux olives...). Enfin, le Luberon regorge de sites magnifiques à visiter, mais le plus beau reste les ballades à pieds que l'on peut faire, directement au départ de la maison. Je recommande notamment la forêt des cèdres et les gorges du régalon pour les enfants : une expérience incroyable. Bref, un véritable havre de paradis pour tout amoureux de la Provence dans lequel nous reviendrons, c'est promis.

Besser geht es nicht! Wunderschönes, stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus. Tolle Lage mit großem Garten samt Pool. Wir haben hier im Oktober einen perfekten Provence-Urlaub erlebt. Pierre (der Vermieter) hat sich äußerst zuvorkommend um alle Details gekümmert und war stets sofort erreichbar. Die Umgebung des Ortes lädt zu Spaziergängen in den Bergen des Luberon oder an der Durance ein, und Ausflugsziele in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung gibt es ohnehin mehr, als man in einem Aufenthalt bewältigen kann. Vielen Dank an Pierre für einen perfekten Urlaub

Das Haus von Pierre und Virginie ist einfach toll! Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist wirklich alles da was man für einen tollen, erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohl in dem großen gesicherten Garten gefühlt. Der Mail-Kontakt mit Pierre war wirklich prima. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder mieten wenn es uns in die Provence verschlägt.

"Dans cette maison comme chez soi" , le cadre est familial avec plein d'objets chinés à droite et à gauche , le bruit de la route peut , la nuit être dérangeant , si les fenêtres restent ouvertes ....cela dit le cadre de vie est au rendez vous et en famille c'est TOP . Excellente adresse qu'il faut absolument conseiller .

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem zentral, ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und schön angelegt. Der Pool ist sehr groß. Wir haben eine Woche in diesem wundervollen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl und heimisch gefühlt. Der große Pool, der eigene Garten und der schöne Blick in die traumhafte Landschaft haben uns sofort überzeugt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt, und sehr gepflegt. Es ist alles noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Lage ist perfekt, um viele wunderschöne Ziele der Provence in Kürze mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man aber auch schöne Touren direkt in den Luberon zu Fuß unternehmen. Der Kontakt zu Pierre war überaus nett und unkompliziert, stets war er bemüht, auch aus der Ferne für unser Wohl zu sorgen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Superbe long week end dans cette maison pleine de charme, décorée avec soin et authenticité. Nous avons apprécié le côté paisible de la maison et de son jardin, avec ses roses, ses iris, et ses cerisiers (merci pour les cerises). La maison est très très bien équipée, et pour une fois, ce n’est pas comme une maison de location qui serait meublée du strict minimum. Cette maison est vivante, et nous a accueillis comme si c’était la notre. Nous avons même redécouvert la Wii et Mario Kart qui nous a permis de nous divertir comme des ados ! Nous reviendrons, c’est promis.

Wir waren im Anfang Oktober 2016 für 2 Wochen in diesem sehr schönen Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück liegt sehr schön am Rande des Luberon, wo die Natur zum Entdecken einlädt. Wir haben viele Wanderungen unternommen und die kleine Orte mit ihren Märkten per Auto erkundet. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, wir können es in jeder Hinsicht weiterempfehlen. Besonders Klasse fanden wir die Tipps zum Einkaufen und Entdecken, die uns der Vermieter vorab und auch noch während des Aufenthalts per E-Mail gegeben hat. Vielen Dank an dich, Pierre und sorry für die späte Bewertung.

We spent a perfect 2 weeks here and couldn't have been happier with both the house and the location. The house was the perfect size for our group (3 couples, 2 small children and a baby) and we immediately felt at home. It was a real home, not just a rental so there were many nice touches which made our stay more pleasant and comfortable. The owner and the neighbour looking after the property were both very friendly and helpful throughout. We enjoyed lots of interesting excursions in the area, and also appreciated the fact that on lazy days we also had the swimming pool and nice walks which we could take directly from the house. We did not want to leave at the end of our holiday! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Très belle maison dans un site magnifique

Nous avons loué la maison une semaine en août et nous avons adoré notre séjour. Très bel accueil, surpris par la grandeur de la maison bien plus grande qu’on ne pouvait le penser avec les photos: pour 4 c'était génial. Grand séjour, belle cuisine familiale, la suite parentale au RDC, les grandes chambres du haut et les 2SDB sont impeccables. Le site est génial : en contrebas il y la Durance pour des belles balades ou faire du canoé (départ de Lauris) et derrière la maison, en faisant 100m à pied vous êtes sur un superbe chemin qui mène à la foret des cèdres pour les sportifs ou marcheurs. Une belle piscine à 29° grâce à la bâche à fermeture motorisée. Une plancha et une terrasse bien ombragée pour profiter du jardin. Avec en plus la présence voisine de Christophe qui s’assure que tout se passe bien et qui est une source de très bons conseils pour profiter au mieux de votre séjour. Au final, ce fut une très belle semaine dans un des plus beaux coins de France.
