The place is located at 10 minute drive from the centre of town and provides a wonderful immersion into the greenery around Fort-de-France.

However, the accommodation seems to be comprised of 2 seperate lodgings, which is not obvious based on the advertisement. We were put into the cabin that is located right next to the host's house, which was both unexpected and inconvenient as we heard someone watch a tv series late into the night. It was generally very loud during the night as one could hear neighbors and parties going on in the valley. There was no mosquito net as shown on the pictures, which meant that during the night, due to the fact that it is a wooden cabin with high ceilings, we were being bothered by mosquitos with no hope of catching them. The floor of the shower was broken in a way that made showering slightly uncomfortable, and, unfortunately, the place was not as clean as hoped, especially considering the price of the accommodation.

Nous avons adoré l’endroit : un cadre magnifique, très dépaysant et paisible. L’accueil était exceptionnel, le personnel était gentil, serviable et vraiment adorable avec nous. On s’est sentis très bien pendant tout le séjour.

Rien de particulier, tout était vraiment parfait pour nous.

Nous ne nous attendions pas à arriver dans cet endroit si dépaysant et verdoyant. La famille de Marc-André a été absolument adorable, leur accueil et leurs attentions nous ont touchés. Certes, les marches peuvent être difficiles pour certains, mais pour 3 nuits comme nous l’avions fait entre amis, cela vaut largement le coup ! Ne vous fiez pas à la mauvaise note, découvrez par vous-même. Je me rappellerai de ce séjour toute ma vie, j’en suis certaine.

The location in-between the trees is nice, the lodge is great, the owners are super friendly and caring. Really a nice place to stay!
