About this house rental
There is nothing like spending time on Big Glen Lake in Glen Arbor! Orchard Oaks Cottage sits back from the road on a huge treed lot, making it an ideal location for children. This quaint, chalet-style home with a vintage vibe has 3-bedrooms and 1.5-baths. There are two bedrooms on the main level and one on the upper level, and the loft area has a twin bed. An abundance of windows let in the great views and sunshine.
This home has a large wrap-around deck and a screened porch. The water is across the street but has easy access to the lakefront, plus a dock. No outdoor fires are permitted.
It is an easy drive to Glen Arbor for shopping, dining, and other fun local activities. Canoes and bicycles can be rented right in town. The Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan are just minutes away. The home is 30 minutes from Traverse City.
Dogs allowed.

Floors could have been cleaner, walls are dusty in bedroom. Kitchen and bathrooms and linens were clean, though so that helps!

Home was perfect. Kids loved having direct access to the lake and never wanted to leave the water. Crossing the street for the lake access was without issue. The house only came with three fans and we were very glad to have brought our own.

We loved having access to Glen Lake and being close to town. But everything about this house was rickety, worn out or even broken. Bad lighting, kitchen drawers that barely opened,,rickety tables, chairs, even the stairway banister. Also there was a lot of clutter. I don’t need a fancy cottage but this was kind of depressing
